Well, drama, drama, drama...

Sorry this update took so long. I don't have the job excuse anymore, so you'll just have to forgive my laziness. ^.^

The silence was awkward. I guess Madara thought he was above everyone, his superiority stopping him from addressing a bunch of insignificant insects like us. He wasn't in a rush. He had all the time in the world.

A slight tap on my shoulder snapped me from my daze, my attention shifting from the mastodon in front of me to the soldier behind me. "Naoto-sama, the Kage demand your presence up there" he bowed respectfully, pointing at the five leaders.

I nodded and jumped up to the spot, my eyes, now in Karuigan form never leaving those of Madara. He must've been intrigued by my action, because he blurted out an actual phrase, rather than staring me down.

"You think that adding a puny little Uzumaki to this useless bunch will make any difference?" he darkly laughed.

Gaara extended his arm and welcomed me into his side, dissipating some of my fears as I responded to this relic of the past.

"I sure hope so" I shouted up at him, staring daggers at him.

Madara let out a stifled laugh. "You've got fire, kiddo, but you really don't stand a chance" he laughed at me. "Now, as much as I'd like to kill all of you, I was sent to bargain. You either surrender and give us the Eight and Nine Tails, or you die here and we take them anyways"

I laughed as well. They planned on reviving the original Ten Tails, but without Kuronuma, the beast would be incomplete and incapable of carrying out their plans. So I would have suggested ending the war, hiding Naruto and Killer Bee and letting them try and fail to put us all under Infinite Tsukuyomi. That would have worked if they would have had only seven of the beasts. But their current mixture had a bit of Gyuki and several bits of Kurama, so my plan was pure suicide. Back to my initial point, they still didn't know jack shit about Kuronuma, which gave me the upper hand.

"Do you think we can take him on?" I asked Kuronuma.

He scratched his chin with one of his claws. "Yeah, I guess. And if anything goes very wrong, you can always use the Dark Style. But I have to warn you, it'll leave you with little to no chakra, and it'll drain mine as well, so be careful with how much you use"

I smirked at him and accessed the chakra sphere inside of me, letting the warm black chakra envelop my body. Leaving my subconscious, I opened my eyes and smirked at the dumbstruck face Madara pulled.

"You may be old and one of the greatest ninja in this world, Uchiha Madara, but not even you knows everything" I lectured.

I felt Gaara let go of my waist and the Kage stepped away from me, giving me some much needed space as I morphed. My muscles strengthened, my senses sharpened, and even though I still looked like a human shrouded by chakra, I felt strong, supernatural. Unlike Naruto, I wasn't meant for great things, like walking in the Sage's shoes, but I was sure that in this improved state, my body could handle a fight against one of the most dangerous and ill-willed men in history. If not for me, than for the mother and father that gave their lives so that my brother and I could live, for the ones before me that fought for peace and failed in their quest, for Gaara, for Tsunade, for the Great Nations.

With my newly acquired speed, I planted an attack on the Sussanno'o. It shook and almost lost its balance. I jumped and kicked with high speed and great strength, and not even the great armor could take it. Where I'd lay my fist, it'd crack loudly. Madara flailed his arms around, the giant arms moving accordingly, but all he did was damage his armor more. I was like a pest that he couldn't swat away.
