Beomgyu didn't know what to say frankly, Yeonjun, beautifully carved Yeonjun, was sitting in front of him with pouty red lips and slanted eyes. The other boy was staring at him intently, as if he'd learn all of Beomgyu's secrets with a simple blink. This of course, might have been true, because within a few seconds of the staring Beomgyu spills all he knows about himself. About his age, school, birthday, the day he first saw Yeonjun and was left breathless with an aching heart. All of it.

"I did notice you at the dog cafe."

Beomgyu perked up. "You did?"

"How couldn't I." Yeonjun shrugged. "You're very cute, Beomgyu."

The blond blushed. "Okay... Well tell me about yourself."

Yeonjun skimmed through the important details, he was older, and didn't live in town. In fact he was visiting his aunt's place for the summer, something he hadn't done since he was 6. Beomgyu sipped at his lemonade in a trance, it was hard to focus on what the elder was saying when his lips and voice made Beomgyu's knees weak. Yeonjun's visuals were so intimidating, everything he said to be a statement written down, crafted carefully and meticously to leave Beomgyu floating. At least, that was what it seemed like, but then again they were soulmates. Maybe it was apart of the whole thing to be unconditionally in love and obsessed.

"What made you come back?"

"Something just told me so." Yeonjun stared, Beomgyu couldn't help but smile.

"We'll I'm glad."

"Me too."

When their food arrived they ate quietly, a confortable silence settling in their bones.

Yeonjun wiped his mouth with a napkin. "Let's go to the city."

Beomgyu's heart skipped a beat at the suggestion. He hasn't been to the city in months. "When?"

"Right now."

Beomgyu's heart stopped. "I don't think my parents will let me."

"Just ask." Yeonjun said, nonchalant.

Beomgyu nodded slowly, putting down his chopsticks to reach down into his pocket and pull out his phone. He had told his parents about finding his soulmate and they were elated for their son. However, Beomgyu was sure that no soulmate can stop them from saying no to simultanous plans. Yet, something in Yeonjun's eyes, a cloud of certaintity meshed with beautiful brown. Beomgyu dialed his mother's number and waited for her response.

"Hello?"

"Mom can I go to the city?" Beomgyu blurted, looking away from Yeonjun's beaming eyes.

"With your soulmate?" His mom asked as if to be sure.

"Yeah." The blond gulped, and ignored Yeonjun's small chuckle from across the table.

"Go ahead."

Beomgyu's eyes widened as he looked up to see Yeonjun smirking.

"O-okay."
