what you should know about me

im a victim
but that doesnt mean im feeble
i am a storm-bringer and my abuser is the sun
i am fire and my foe is water
so although i may be a victim to others (as much as they are victims to me) i am not weak
i have endured what some never will and what some have endured thrice fold
you may be so eager to encase me in the label of a lamb when you hear my tale but dont exclude the lion in me
because i am as unreasonable as i am fair
as cruel as i am kind
what can be mistaken for two faced is the pure human essence in me
if the world is light and dark, like they say, then we are the dimming of sunlight in bedrooms
and if the world is black and white then we are the grey
