It was late, past Harpers bedtime.

"Look at the time, it's time for bed precious."

Tanya smiles sweetly to Harper as she picks her up, she didn't fuss. She wrapped her arms around her neck and laid her head on her shoulder. The butterfly lights were on leaving a bright and peaceful feel to the room. Harper loves them. She'd raise her arms at them as if she were trying to catch one. Tanya smiled at that thought. She walked around the bedroom and began to sing to Harper a lullaby.

Harper was sound asleep. Tanya carefully placed her in the crib, and put a blanket on her to keep her warm. She was so wonderful towards Harper. She was going to be a wonderful mother. As she stared at a sleeping Harper, she knew that was true.

"I'd thought you had forgotten that lullaby" Kate suddenly says while leaning against the doorway, almost startling Tanya

"I'd thought you had forgotten that lullaby" Kate suddenly says while leaning against the doorway, almost startling Tanya.

"I remember I used to sing to you and..."

She was about to say Irina's name, but stopped and decided to change the subject. The memories were still painful to deal with. The lullaby was the one she singed to Kate and Irina when they were beginning their transformation. Tanya hadn't sung it after the passing of their creator, Sasha. This was the first time in ages she's ever sung it out loud. Harper was truly beginning to heal the scars.

"So how's Garrett?"

"He's better now that he's getting used to the "vegetarian" lifestyle. But the taste still bothers him."

They both laugh. Then Harper starts to make noises in her sleep, she was disturbed by the ruckus. They quietly walk out the room and close the door.

"Do you mind if I ask you about something? Something that's been in the back of my mind?" Kate awkwardly asks.

"What about?"

"About Harper? I'm not so sure we should keep her?"

Tanya could not believe what she was hearing. She was dumbfounded. She felt betrayed. Her own sister wanted her to let go of her child, a child she grew to love deeply. Now, she expects her to just let her go? Over her cold dead body.
