Derin stood in front if me, staring at me, waiting for me to answer him.

I hesitate think about my option on whether to deny or accept it. It all resulted to one thing if I wanted to be in good grace. It only resulted to one conclusion; I had to accept it.

I shifted feet uncomfortably on my feet as Derin stared down at me, "what do I have to do?"

He smiled, and bent down to pick up a black duffle bag by his feet, "I'm glad you asked."

He threw the bag directly at my chest and my hands instantly shot up and caught it. Without even looking inside, I felt what was in there and the weight of it confirmed what it was.

I grit my teeth.

"Deliver this to Lance Monakos, he will be at-"

"I don't do drug dealing," I interrupted him with an motionless tone.

"Who told you it was drugs?"

"My gut," I told him, "and I know its correct."

We look at each other with testy looks.

"I don't drug deal," I repeated. My confidence was growing weary as I stood under his stern eyes. I may be one of his favorites, but I'm pushing my limits by rejecting his offer.

There could be harsh punishment for my behavior right now.

But I have my reasons.

"Well you do now," He continued on with his instructions, but I wasn't listening.

I don't want anything to do with drugs, I'll dealt with anything else but drugs. I've stole things, tortured and killed people. I've even traded people, but never did I trade drugs.

Drugs are the reason I live such a shitty life. Drugs are the reason my mom left me. The reason why I'm a juvenile orphan that had to live the life of crime just to survive.

The things that I've done from my abandonment, would make grown men cry in his bed at night. But it didn't faze me, I practically grew up in the mix of all of it.

I could never support the reason that put me through this large amount of pain that I call life.

I shook my head, and Derin turned and saw it.

His eye brows knit together, "Markus asked specifically for you," he told me, "and you wouldn't want to go against the boss' orders."

Derin has always looked out for me, especially when I was younger. He doesn't want me to make the wrong decision and wound up dead.

I paused looking down at the bag, this is what my mother left me for. My very own blood.

I'm not my mother.

I drop the bag and walked to the rooms exit.

"Where are you going?" Derin demanded.

"I'm not doing this," I growled loud enough so he could hear.

"If you don't, Markus will come after you," He called after me.

I stopped as I grabbed the door knob and turned back to him, "let him," I told him, "He has to find me first."
