There was a piercing scream that went off in the store. It startled me, making me jump and I could taste fear in the back of my throat.

He has already found me.

It was at the other side of the aisle, just a few feet from me.

I duck down behind the shelves, slowly looking around the shelves. Alerted and on guard, waiting for something dangerous and life threatening to come at me, such as a bullet or something.

I try to calm my nerves as I went to peek around the corner, but I could taste fear at the back of my throat as my head poked around the corner.

But I did not see who or what I was expecting, there was just a couple taking a selfie in the middle of the store. The boy was tall, and had to hunch down to be level with the girl. They both smiled into the camera, and I watch him gently put his hands on her waist.

I rolled my eyes, PDA, and returned back around the corner that I was frightened to turn just seconds ago.

"Okay," I said to myself, "what do I want..."

I look through the glass case at the fried chicken, chicken strips, corn dogs, and other deli foods. The scent filled my nostrils and my stomach rumbled and growled at me.

I was starving.

How am I going to get this out without being noticed.

I roam the aisles looking for something to eat, but obviously for something I will not pay for. I don't have any money to my name, but I will not go hungry tonight.

Yes, I may have betrayed my gang, but it doesn't mean I'm still not a thug. Though I promise I won't be violent.

I master in the degree of thieves.

I stopped at a shelf of chips, and looked through my choices of flavors. I was still rattled from the scream; it nearly scared me to death. For a moment I thought I was gonna die right off the bat, its only been a few hours since I left.

I wondered if Markus even knew I left by now. He probably did, Derin might have had to tell him. He might have tried to stall it for a while until Markus questioned him. And knowing Derin's loyalty, he told him.

I knew for a fact he would tell Markus right away, Derin cared for me like a sister too much.

I felt bad for doing this to him, he would do anything in his power to help me, and I let him down for my own selfishness.

I wince, I was selfish.

But I need to focus on my next move; where am I gonna go? Do I leave the state? How the hell am I gonna leave L.A?

Just as I reach for a for a bag of Doritos, I here someone say, "Excuse me."

I quickly turn around to see at tall guy towering over me. It was the same guy taking a selfie with his girlfriend. But where is she now? I glance around; she's nowhere to be seen.

I look back at the boy, he has curly brunette hair and brown eyes. He had a little scar on his right cheek, but the dimples stole the spotlight as he smiled.

His face was slightly familiar, and to be perfectly honest; flawless. His skin was clear and looked smooth.

But his looked too familiar, it bugged me.

Who is this guy?
