I could feel her eyes on me for nearly the entire ride. When I would glance at her, her eyes would quickly change directions. My face warmed up, sure that it showed on my face, and looked away back through the front window.

She was trying to figure me out, there was no question about it.

From what I seen so far about this girl she was very... observant. She watched things very closely, like she was being cautious and walking on egg shells. Her thoughts seemed to be running around everywhere in her mind, like she was trying to make decisions that she was struggling with.

What has she gone through?

We pulled up at the hotel; there was no sign of Mendes Army, which makes sense because its almost midnight.

I thanked the driver and got out, followed by the girl.

We entered the warm bright lobby of the hotel.

"You're staying here?" The girl asked, but it sounded like it was more to herself.

"Yeah," I looked back at her, her eyes skimmed everything she passed by. She seemed on edge as her eyes wandered.

Her eyes were wide with curiosity, then suddenly locked with mine. I looked away, feeling like I was caught staring.

We entered the elevator, and I pressed the button for my floor then the doors shut, leaving me alone with the girl.

The Girl, I keep calling her. I'm taking her to my hotel room and I don't even know her name.

I glance at her, she was looking at the floor with her hands clasped together in front of her. She was lost in her thoughts again.

I look forward before she sees me looking at her again.

We stood there in silence then the elevator rang and the doors rang. She followed me to my room, and pull out my key to unlock the door.

"So, what's your name?"  The girl asked me.

I froze and looked up at her. Speechless, I search for the right words, "you don't know who I am?"

Her eyebrows knit together, "should I?"

I smile, she doesn't know who I am, "my names Shawn."

I unlocked the door and pushed it open, letting the girl inside first. My insides laughed and giggled to each other and my happiness bounced around in my heart. It was strange to find joy in someone not knowing who I am for the first time.

"Whats yours?" I asked as I followed her into the room.

"Uh, Bianca."

Bianca, that the girls name.

*******************

I sat in the hotel room chair, and Bianca sat on the bed facing me.
She stripped from her leather jacket and took off her shoes. We snacked on food and talked though we both looked exhausted.

"So if your just visiting," she said, "then where are you from?"

I didn't tell her that I'm a celebrity, I don't know what her impression of me is, but I'm sure that she must think I'm rich staying in this kind of hotel. She seemed loose some nervousness though. not so much on edge. She was actually smiling and laughing at stories that I told about my sister. She didn't talk much about her family, but I didn't ask. She asked all the questions, she seemed very interested in everything I had to say.

"I'm actually from Canada."

She straighted, "Canada? Why are you did you come to L.A?"

"Just visiting," I told her.

She snorted, "Why L.A. though? Why not New York or something?"

I leaned back in my seat, "I actually had a performance tomorrow."

"What kind of performance?"

"Music," I said not getting to technical, I didn't really want her to know that I'm famous.

"Are you in a band?"

I sigh and laughed, "not really, I sing and play a guitar."

She paused, "can you sing to me?"

I look at her, she was being serious, "yeah, sure."

I got up and grabbed my guitar and paused to look up at her, "any requests?"

"Play one of your songs," she said laying down on the bed.

I took one more look before saying "okay," then started playing the guitar and singing. I played In My Blood.

She liked it, each time I looked up at her, she was smiling. But when I finished, she was fast asleep.

I leaned the guitar against the nightstand and smiled to myself.

Before I knew it I was sleep, and dreaming about Bianca.

We were outside and on a city block, I recognized this place; it was Toronto. Bianca was walking away from me, and she turned around with a smile on her face. Then she stopped and turned completely around to face me as I walked up to her.

But right before we came face to face, I woke from the dream.

My next blared with pain as I rose it from the back of the chair. The sunlight shined through the curtains and my eyes fell onto the bed. I shot to my feet; Bianca was gone.

I cursed and paced the floors, then quickly fell to the bed.

She slipped through my fingers.
