The next day I was at brunch with the girls telling them everything that happened on my date the night before.
"He walked me to my door and we hugged and said goodnight," I told them taking a sip out of my strawberry lemonade.
"You guys didn't kiss or anything?" Claire asked me with confusion laced in her voice.
I shook my head, "As much as I wanted to, we didn't. Maybe he doesn't want to kiss me?" I began to get a little concerned.
"C'mon Aria it's not that, I mean it was your first date ever, you don't have to kiss on the first date," Victoria said.
"Yeah but all I'm saying was that there was a chance for him to get a kiss and he didn't take it, it's a little weird," Claire argued.
"Claire hush, it's not a bad thing to take it slow. Like Victoria said, it was literally their first date ever. I'm sure the next one will include a couple of smooches here and there," Elena said jokingly.
"Can we please talk about something other than Leo and I possibly kissing?" I asked them.
"Uh fine, does anyone have anything new coming up?" Claire asked the group.
Everyone thought for a second before Elena said, "Ooh I've got something. I don't know how I forgot to tell you guys about this but Justin is throwing a party next Friday and we were invited."
I thought about it for a second. Parties weren't really my scene and I was about to express my opinion before Claire beat me to it, "Oh we have to go! Ladies cancel any plans on Friday night because we are going to that party!"
Well, that defeats me trying to convince them not to go.
"Victoria, Aria what do you guys think?" Elena asked.
Victoria nodded, "We could stop by for a little bit."
"Aria?" Elena asked.
"Yeah, sure," I told them.
We all chatted a little bit more before we called the brunch good and decided to all head home. I got home and went straight to my bed, deciding to take a nap.
Most of my weekend consisted of taking naps and watching Netflix, but before I knew it, it was already Monday again. I walked into school feeling groggy and very underwhelmed. It was getting harder and harder to wake up and go to school every morning.
I walked over to the usual waiting spot where the rest of the girls were. I took off my coat and threw it into my locker before closing it and turning back to my friends.
"What's wrong with you Aria?" Victoria asked me.
I shook my head, "Nothing, just tired. What's going on with everyone else? Anything new?"
It was quiet for a moment before Elena spoke up, "I don't have anything. Looks like it's gonna be a boring day ladies."
We stood by the lockers for a little bit longer before deciding to walk to class. I guess it was going to be a boring day after all.
My second class of the day ended and I was walking out with Elena. We were chatting before I felt someone grab my wrist pulling me back.
I turned around expecting to see one of the girls or even Leo, but instead, I was met with a boy from my psychology class named Brandon.
"Hey Aria, you got a sec?" he asked me with a smirk on his face.
I looked over to Elena with a look of confusion on my face, and she shared the same look. I turned back to Brandon, "Uh yeah, I guess."
