i was at the library, studying and preparing myself for the test later when someone plopped down to the seat next to mine.

❝ what a hardworking student, dear yeri. ❞ hana said sarcastically, ❝ you're the student with an a-plus straight. do you still have to study? ❞

❝ well, yes, i still do. ❞ i answered, my focus is still on the book i am rereading, ❝ i want eomma and appa to be proud of me. ❞

hana rolled her eyes at me. ❝ i already heard that line a million of times. ❞

❝ you're exaggerating. ❞ i said.

❝ i am not. but whatever, let's study together? ❞ hana asked and gave me her puppy eyes, which is working on me, unfortunately.

i stopped and looked at her. ❝ you do know that the puppy eyes of yours is not doing anything to make me say yes, right? ❞ i joked.

❝ what a liar! ❞ hana yelled and the librarian scolded her for being loud, ❝ yeri, please? ❞

i giggled, ❝ i was just kidding. let's study together, then. ❞

❝ yeri loves me! ❞ she happily stated and the librarian warned her for the second time. if it goes for the third time, we'll be kicked out.

❝ . . .as a friend. ❞ i finished.

hana rolled her eyes and gave me a thumbs up. ❝ duh, i am not a lesbian, my dear yeri. ❞

❝ because you like changbin. ❞ i stated, earning a smack and scoff from her.

❝ shut up. ❞ she hissed and face flushed uncontrollably.

❝ who likes changbin? ❞ felix suddenly showed up in front of us, with one eyebrow raised.

❝ hana does. . . ❞ i confessed and immediately regret doing it as soon as i saw felix's reaction.

❝ ahn yeri! ❞

and that is how we got kicked out from the library.
