These are some tiny poems I had to write for a class.

My Cactus (A Haiku)

So spiky and sharp.
You thrive without constant care.
Yet I still killed you.

Sleepy (A Haiku)

Pillows and blankets.
An alarm blasting too loud.
Five more minutes, please.

My Birthday Present (A Haiku)

Her eyes shining bright
As she purred, nuzzled, and mewled.
I named her Turtle.

Goodbye (A Cinquain)

Goodbye.
I'll see you soon.
Promise to wait for me.
The other side isn't that far.
Love you . . .

Untitled Cinquain #1

Death
It comes
And it goes.
And it comes for
You.
