Later, the royals made it to the village where Daisy from the Park of Rainbow Tigers lived. As a matter of fact, the royals saw her and Sara right away.

"Daisy, Sara, good day," Garrick smiled.

"Good day, Your Majesty," Daisy smiled back.

"How are you?" Sara asked.

"We're just fine," Garrick replied. "Sofia and Hugo are just about to teach us some ringette."

"You can watch with us if you want," Samira offered.

"Oh, this should be fun," Sara smiled.

"Indeed," Daisy agreed.

Sofia, Hugo, Axel, and Garrick put on their hockey skates and helmets. Then they got out their ringette equipment. Sofia and Hugo were on one team and Axel and Garrick on the other.

"I think I'll play goalie this time—I can never keep up with that girl," Garrick declared.

"Okay, Dad," Axel said. He and Sofia were playing out while Hugo and Garrick were the goalies.

James threw the ring onto the ice, and the game began. Sofia and Axel played fiercely, and Axel could barely keep up with her. The ringette game had attracted many nearby villagers, who couldn't help watching the royals play.

"Wow, look at that girl go," Grimtrix remarked.

"Yes, I wonder why she never thought about joining a hockey or ringette team at school," Samira declared.

Sofia and Axel each charged for the ring, but they saw that her scarf was on the ice. Axel stopped just in time, but Sofia wasn't so lucky. She ran over the scarf and lost control. When her foot reached the snow, she was went flying through the air and landed hard on the sidewalk. Everyone cringed at this. Daisy, Sara, Roland, Miranda, Amber, and James ran over to Sofia's aid.

"Sofia, are you okay?" Amber gasped.

"Oh, it's my ankle," Sofia replied weakly.

An ambulance was summoned right away—two horses were harnessed to a coach that was painted white with a red cross. Sofia was strapped securely on a stretcher, and the paramedics rolled her into the coach.

"Can I go with her?" Amber asked.

"It's fine with me," Sofia declared.

Amber got into the ambulance with one paramedic, and the doors were closed. The other medic went to the front, and the horses pulled the coach to the hospital.

"Thanks, Amber," Sofia smiled.

"Not a problem," Amber smiled back. "Maybe wearing a scarf during a ringette game wasn't such a good idea."

"I know that now, but I wonder why it never came off when I ice-dance," Sofia declared.

"I don't know why you need a scarf anyway—you can stand outside in a snowstorm without a jacket without shivering even a little," Amber pointed out. "How do you even do that?"

"I get it from my birth father—he came from Freezenburg, which is why he tolerated cold weather so well," Sofia recalled.

"And you certainly take after him, but I wonder why Hildy and her family could never tolerate cold that well," Amber wondered.

The ambulance made it to the hospital. Amber helped the paramedics roll stretcher out. Once Sofia was rolled into the ER, Amber waited out in the lobby.
