The next morning, I'm allowed to leave the hospital, but Shay wants us to meet someone before we leave. Avia and Emmi are excited, I am too, but I'm still feeling a little off. We made an update video yesterday, including how I'm now a Butler, to which most were excited. I'm still a little off about it, kind of nervous. I know I'll end up loving it, it just takes a while to get used to.

Colette wheels me down the hall while the girls say goodbye to God knows how many people.

"Who are we meeting?" Emmi asks yet again. "Is it Taylor Swift?'

"No, Emmi." Shay says. "It's not Taylor."

"Then who is it?" Avia groans, stopping in her tracks and crosses her arms. "I wanna know!"

"You'll see soon enough." Is a Colette says, and we keep walking down the hall. We go down to the cafeteria, and there we see a little girl, no older than Emmi, sitting in a wheelchair. She has braces on her legs, but she smiles brightly as us.

"Girls." Shay says. "This is Gracie. She's getting surgery tomorrow because she has Cerebral Palsy. She watches our videos, and wanted to meet you guys."

"Hi." Emmi smiles cheerfully, sitting in the chair next to her wheelchair. "How old are you?"

"Six." She giggles. "I'm in first grade." I can tell she's nervous, I would be too if I was meeting my idols, but she's overjoyed at the same time.

"Cool." Emmi responds. "I'm in first, too!" Avia joins them in conversation, while Shay and Colette talk with, who I assume, is Gracie's mother.

I take a bit to just admire how thrilled Gracie is, talking to the Avia and the Emmi. She's probably dreamed of this day for years on end, and it's finally happening for her. Kind of like me, I mean, I'm getting the dream family. Sure, I'm very overwhelmed at the moment, to be expected, but I'm sure I'll warm up to the idea. Even if my mother cared the least amount possible about me, I still miss her. I mean, yeah she was horrible, but there were earlier times where we got along.

"Faith!" Emmi giggles and motions me over, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Come here!"

Carefully, I push the wheels of my wheelchair, ending up about a foot away from the girls' table. "Hey." I smile at the three, who, from the way Avia and Grace are still conversing, were in deep talk of Frozen.

"Faith." Gracie notices me. "Hi!"

"Hi." I giggle, waving small at the little girl. "How are you?"

"I'm good." She smiles wide. "I'm getting surgery tomorrow, though."

I notice the way her smile drops while she says it, even though she's probably been through it countless times before. "I'm sure you'll be fine." I reassure her.

"Yeah." Her smile's almost back. "I'm glad you're okay."

"Thanks." I smile, glancing over to Avia, who's staring at the bright pink braces on Gracie's legs. Crutches are placed in a holder behind the wheelchair, the color a subtle aqua. "Me too."

"Gracie, your doctor needs to see you. Say goodbye." Her mother calls from a few feet away. "We got their number, maybe we can hang out with them again another day."

"Okay." Grace says, beginning to press the joystick on her chair. "See you guys!"

The three of us chorus a few 'bye's', and we head back over to Shay and Colette.

"She's a sweet little girl." Colette smiles. "Very strong."

"She is." Shay agrees, and we walk down the hallway, towards the exit. "Now, lets get back to Pocatello!"

When we arrive at the property, the first thing I notice are the balloons and streamers decorating the place. They're scattered, on trees, lamp posts, even Shay's truck. The swing set has balloons all over it, despite the fact that it's the middle of the winter, and less that forty degrees most of the time. The kids still use the swing set, the trampoline even, so it's not much of a shock.

"Woah." Avia gasps, her face pressed against the car window. Emmi reaches over her sister's lap, so she can see the wonderful sight.

"Did the boys do this?" Colette asks to no one in particular.

"Well." Shay says, taking out his phone. "I think everyone that was left here helped, but it was the boys' idea."

"Wow." I chuckle, looking out the window some more, until we arrive in the driveway. "That's sweet."

Shay parks the car, and the girls hop out, stepping on the mounds of snow that line the driveway. Colette comes to help me out of the car and hands me my crutches. I had to leave the wheelchair at the hospital, but I'm fine on the crutches. They only needed me to be in the wheelchair as a hospital implemented precaution.

I can see the boys', along with Brailee and Gage's, faces against the window. Brock waves rapidly at me, and I send a smile to him.

"Ready?" Colette questions as we approach the door. Shay and the girls have long gone, situated inside the house by now. I nod slowly, taking a deep breath before Colette opens the door. "Welcome to being a Butler."

So there's a little update for you guys! I took my Mom's laptop as soon as I got home, to make sure my little sister wouldn't steal it.
