Percy Jackson)

" More recruits?" Clarisse asked.

" Three of them." Chiron said. " They are in Upper State New York."

So Jason, Nico, and myself agree to this.

" Yancy Academy." They told us. " Nancy is in your grade, Percy. Kristin is in yours, Jason. And Zander is in your grade, Nico. Don't scare them."

No. Not Yancy.

And Chiron could tell I hate that school.

" You'll live for a few months, Perseus." Chiron told me and Grover walks in.

" A few months where?" Grover asked.

" Some school." Jason said. " Yancy Academy For Troubled Kids in Upper State New York."

" Pray nobody recognises you." Grover told me when we were all dismissed.

" I'm hope." I agreed and went to pack.

So Jason, Nico and myself leave and get to the dorm rooms and we talked. Even Nico did.

" Okay, why did Chiron tell you that you could survive a few months at Yancy?" Jason asked me. " Do you not go to school or something?"

" No, he goes to school." Nico told Jason.

" It's the school." I explained as I drove. " We found Nico at a school in Maine, we found you guys at Wilderness, it's common to find demigods in schools. Grover and Chiron found me at Yancy. It was not my favourite school and I wasn't exactly the most popular kid there."

It was silent as we pulled up to the school dorm rooms and I saw her there, handing out papers for Freshmen like Nico for their orientation.

Nancy Bobofit.

We drop off Nico and wait inside the school gym for him as much as he didn't want to go.

Now Jason had found somebody to talk to. What ever and Nancy was one of those people that stayed behind and answer questions.

Well I'm sitting alone playing with a pen.

So she just walks over to me.

" Can I help you with anything, sir?" She asked me and I look at her.

" How old do you think I am?" I asked her.

" I'd say early twenties." She told me. " You can tell that this face has seen battle."

" I'm a Junior." I told Nancy. " I'm only 17."

" Oh." She said. " Sorry about that. I'm Nancy. Junior."

" Percy." I introduced myself. " Junior."

She nodded her head.

" We used to have a Percy here." She told me. " He was something else. That was years ago, 6th grade."

" I be the was." I agreed with that.

And I discover she had a crush on me.

" You look kind of like him." Nancy told me. " Same eyes. But he's dead, so.."

What?

" Oh." I said. " If you don't mind me asking, how so?"

She shrugged.

" He went missing last year." Nancy explained. " People thought his old step-dad. But he was dead. Then one day out of the blue Percy called his parents and then that was last winter and nothing ever since. It's sad. He was our age. And he's already dead."
