" You what?" Nico asked me. " Don't say nevermind, either. I know you have something to say."

" Just gonna say didn't know." I lied. " Glad we broke up in that case."

" Oh." Nico said. " Yeah, I guess that would make sense."

" You know." I said. " If you want friends to start over or whatever just enroll yourself in school. That was always my safe haven from home before camp. Okay, so some people are jerks but ignore them and when you get back use the dummies like they were them. But you'd make a lot of friends, too. Or at least a couple of them."

" I'll consider." Nico told me. " Just no Yancy. Those people are duche bags."

I nod my head and I remember all of a sudden.

" I have something for you." I told Nico, opening the truck again. And there was the box of things that I wanted to hand down or were handed down to me that I felt to continue.

And I found the shield Luke gave me. I planned on giving it to Nico as soon as he got here. When I left like Luke had. Luke gave it to me the summer he left. He didn't bring me here but he was the first demigod I saw in action and my first demigod friend who helped me though the hardest part of all of it. Accepting it.

Now I had a little box of things for Nico. I had found Mythomagic stuff. A new coat for when he was 16. It was leather, though. Couldn't find one like his. Things my parents wanted him to have. I was going to give it all to him when he turned 16. A nice present.

" It's a few months early, I guess." I told Nico. Taking out the box. " I had planned to give this to you for your 16th birthday. But since you're already 15 and it's almost December now... I guess you can open it."

He held the sort of heavy box.

" How much is in here?" He asked me.

" Half of it is from my parents." I said. " It's not all me."

He just shook his head as we sat in the open trunk and he opens the box.

On top was the most recent which was the coat I had gotten him. On the back it said 'Ghost King', I had had it stitched in like that for him. Just something so they knew it was his, not anyone else's. That coat was Nico's. The King of Ghost.

" Is this a leather coat?" Nico asked when he opened it.

" You needed something new." I said. " That jacket is to short for you now."

" It is." Nico agreed, taking out the new jacket and he looked at the back.

" Now that's awesome." Nico said. Taking off his original jacket and his arms were so skinny and they were cut up a lot it was surprising but I didn't say anything. Mine aren't much better. I mean, they're not fresh. Maybe one or two sets. But most are old scars.

He slipped on the new leather jacket and it looked great on him. Fit him well. It was Nico all together.

" How do I look?" Nico asked an I joked around a little.

" Gay as hell." I said and he stopped.

" Seriously?" Nico asked.

" No." I said. " It's black, not pink."

" True." Nico said and next was a few albums on cd. Different bands I figured he'd like.Pierce The Veil, Linkin Park, Blood On The Dance Floor. 30 Seconds To Mars. Nickelback. Bands a people like that.

And they also came on an IPhone 6Plus.

" Your family is amazing." Nico told me.

" That's what I try to tell them." I agreed and he got movies, drawing stuff, a GameCube because who didn't play with a GameCube as a kid. Those were the thing when I was little. Loved it. Then a PlayBoy, and lastly the shield.
