I walked up to the almost stranger house of Rosa Valdez in Houston, Texas. After a minute I got up the nerve to knock on the door.
A little girl answered the door. Maybe 6ish.
" Hewo." She said. " Can I hewp you?"
" Yeah." I told her. " Are your parents here?"
She nods her breath and got her dad. Somebody that I didn't recognize as my uncle.
And it wasn't him. Guess they were divorced and here comes down my older cousin, Jaydn. She was Percy's age.
" Who is it?" She asked as this guy came over to me. " Is my dad....?"
She trailed off seeing me and she saw me as a stranger barely. There was something in me that was the same.
I still look a bit like my mom and still always get covered in oil and grease.
" HI." This dude said. " Im Troy. Can I help you at all?"
" Is Rosa Valdez here by chance?" I asked.
" One-" He was cut off by my aunt.
" That little son of a bitch better have not come back after what we told him!" Aunt Rosa said.
" I saw him." Jaydn said. " Go look. It looks like him, anyway."
And here comes storming out Aunt Rosa.
" You sick son of a bitch murderer you." Rosa said, with a hot spoon against my chest which was barely even warm to me. " You should've never come back."
" You know him?" This guy asked.
" He killed my sister." Rosa accused me.
" I didn't kill her!" I defend myself. " Why would I kill my own mother? And I didn't come to discuss fucking legal crap or that shit."
" Then why are you here?" Rosa asked me. " Make it quick. I don't have time for you."
" Gee, you're rays of sunshine today." I said and motioned them to followed me.
And everyone but Rosa was coming.
" I'm not going to kill you." I told her an Jaydn started dragging her as she arrived in the Argo II.
"I told you so."
" You bought a warship?" Rosa asked me as the others adventure and I turn on cameras so if they get lost or something or find the weaponry.....
" Correction." I correct her. " I built a warship. I don't have the money to buy one of these. I'm only 15."
Before she could say anything something crashed and the others came running up and to us.
" What was that?" That one guy asked.
" That wasn't you guys?" Rosa asked and I'm hearing for the control room.
" I doubt it." I said, heading into the room.
" Well what else would do that?" He asked.
" I might know." I said as I turn on the cameras again.
There it was. There she was.
Medusa.
" Demigod." She hissed. " I can smell you."
" What?" Jaydn asked.
" I'll explain." I said. " Just not now."
" You can't hide from me!" Medusa was getting angry. " Come out come out wherever you are, demigod!"
So I take the speaker.
" Hey, Medusa!" I say into the speaker. " You want me? Come find me."
" Do you have a death wish or something?" Rosa asked me.
" I might." I agreed. " Bit grab onto something like your life relies onto it."
"Why?" Jaydn asked.
" Do you want to go overboard?" I asked, grabbing the controls.
" Yeah, you're insane." Rosa said grabbing onto a railing.
" 3, 2, 1!" I said, flipping the ship over in mid air as Medusa started thrashing around and after a few times she got off the ship.
I flipped the ship back upright and they were pretty dizzy.
" Okay, what the hell?" He asked me. " Who the hell are you?"
