CLAIRE'S POV:
I stared down at his name in my phone. Hayes Grier. It still seems so weird! Should I text him? Is it too soon?
I picked up my phone and selected the text option from his name. My thumbs danced back and forth, trying to decide what to say.
I finally typed some words on the screen and sent it.
HAYES' POV:
Our group arrived at Nash and Cam's apartment a few minutes later. I walked in and set my stuff down on the huge black leather sectional in the living room. Cam motioned to the guest room with his eyebrows.
Matt helped me carry all my luggage in.
The room was mostly empty save a king size memory foam bed in a dark mahogany bed frame with white and silver sheets, and a soft, neatly folded dark blanket sitting on top.
I set my backpack down next to the bedside table. On the hardwood table sat a dimly lit lamp and a picture frame that held a picture of me and the guys.
My phone buzzed but I didn't look at it.
The wall behind my bed was covered in pictures of me and Nash, and posters that fans had made for us.
We weren't going on tour again for about a month, and the memories of our travels made a tear form in the corner of my eye.
I unzipped my backpack and pulled out the teddy bear Skylynn had given me before I left and sat it on the table. Matt gave the bear a weird look and walked out of the room, shaking his head.
Carter stuck his head in the doorway.
"Come on Hayes we're going out to eat!" I grabbed my wallet, slipped on my black leather jacket and headed out with the rest of the guys.
I glanced at my phone on the way out and saw a text from Claire.
'Hey it's Claire. If you ever need a tour guide to show you around LA then just shoot me a text :)' I smiled and walked out the door.
