Team Shadow: (Astro and Wonderman book 10) The return of the Dragonfires.

Katheryn's vengence ;-;

(Loki's point of view)

We got teleported to the next town over from ours and it looked a bit taken over but not by Katheryn. It also seemed to be in progress of being completely taken over.

After noticing this I looked around towards the rest of my siblings expecting Angel, Hope, Damon, and Athena to be there. They weren't though so I went to Pixie.

"What the hell Pixie! You were supposed to teleport us all! Why did you only teleport us!" I raised my voice at her.

"Katheryn has been taking my power away little by little. It was when she came back. It was because I was getting progress in defeating her vampire covens. She made sure I lost just enough so that I couldn't fight back" I answered.

"So you only had enough to teleport us" Lex asked.

I nodded slowly. "I'm sorry. If I had the magic power I would have teleported us all" I told him. A shot was fired in the sky making Pixie jump and hide behind me then.

I looked at her in sympathy then. She looked as though she'd been through a lot and was fighting insanity that threatened to grip her at any second.

"It's okay. I'm sorry for raising my voice at you. Let's just start working our way towards home again" I voiced.

"We can't go back. Not without some people to fight back" Pixie voiced highly worried about me.

"Come to think of it where are the oher Dragonfires?" I asked.

"Come with me. I know where our enemies are so I know the places to avoid" Pixie laughed.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Not really. I've been through a lot since Katheryn has been here" She hissed her name.

"I can tell. I'm sorry you had to go through that" I told her.

Lex and the rest of us just followed her though. We weren't completely sure we could trust her until we saw some vampires. She told us to lay low and she watched them closely and told us when it was safe to go. With her leading us we never came into any trouble, another reason we figured she was telling the truth. Eventually we came towards the famous war zone of the story past. Pixie looked all around her and then she opened a tunnel when she was sure no one was following us. We went into the tunnel and it seemed to be taking forever but eventually we got to the end of it. Once we got to the end we came to the famous battlegrounds. The place we went when we were kids, that the dragonchilds were in seemed to be where we were headed. She slowly opened the door to the room. They were all there as well.

Once we got in Yeania hugged Pixie with tears of joy.

"Your okay. I was so worried" Yeania voiced.

"Not without battle scars. No one escapes Katheryn without battle wounds" I told her.

"Well I'm glad your all here" Yeania smiled.

"We came because we need some assistance. We need to go into Katheryn's town and save Angel, Hope, Damon and Athena. They have her though and you know how heavily guarded it is. I can't do it alone" I told her.

"Of course you have our assistance. We are family now after all" Yeania smiled.

So everyone surrounded us and we started walking back to Katheryn's kingdom.
