Team Shadow: (Astro and Wonderman book 10) The return of the Dragonfires.

Jessie's turn

(Miya's point of view)

"Alright team shadow. The meeting is now in order" Miya voiced.

"Wow said you get to say the meetings in order. What if me or Athena want to say the meeting is in order. I mean seriously you and Hope always do it" Damon stated.

"Come on your taking up our time you know" Miya complained.

"Sorry. My bad" Damon replied.

"Anyhow is there any ideas on how to turn Jessie back to normal" I asked.

"She used to love being around nature. We could take her to a garden that everyone goes to admire" Hope suggested.

"Yeah. That could be it. There would have to be something else to trigger her adventurous side" Damon suggested.

"I could help out with that. I know a spell that can make you way younger than you are. Plus, I could pretend to be evil and take away one of your magic powers just for a little while" Pixie voiced.

"Alright. But who will volunteer to be the kid?" Damon asked.

"I could do it" Hope smiled.

"Then it's decided" Pixie smiled and so we got to work with our plan.

(Jessie's point of view)

I was going to the local garden the kids suggested I go to and I had forgotten how wonderful it was to be around nature. I enjoyed it very much and I couldn't seem to get enough of the nature.

"Let me go!" A kid shouted.

"Luna! Has anyone seem a kid named Luna nearby!" A girl with long brown hair and dark blue eyes stated.

"What does Luna look like?" I asked her.

"She has black hair and blue eyes" the mother stated.

"I saw her a not too far from here. I'll save her for you" I promised the mother.

"Oh, thank god. You truly are a hero" the mother happily stated.

"Let me go!" Luna yelled.

"Hey! Why don't you pick on someone your own size" I told the person with Luna in hand.

"Why don't you mind your own business!" The capturer stated.

"Fine then. We'll do this the hard way" I stated.

I made a protective bubble around the kid and then placed her beside her mother.

Then I used nature magic against the capturer.

"What a foolish attempt to stop me" The capturer laughed as she used fire magic that was so bright that I had to look away for a second when I saw it.

It burned down all my nature magic and made it weak.

I landed on the ground then recovering from her attack.

"Is that all you got? What a joke. I thought the Dragonfires were better than this. Leo's a scaredy-cat to be scared of you" The capturer told me.

"How dare you shame the Dragonfire name!" I growled. Suddenly I summoned a pure fire that was so powerful it took over their power and threw them back.

I then landed on the ground with my eyes closed.

Everyone around me cheered for me then.

"Wow. Your such a hero. I hope one day I grow up to be just like you" Luna smiled at me.

I smiled back at her then and turned to the capturer.

"What was it you wanted with the child!" I demanded.

"I will still obtain what I want" The capturer stated as she then took the power Luna had.

Luna gasped and then cried when her magic was removed.

"Now, I have enough to take you out" The capturer smiled sinisterly.

"I won't allow you to get the child!" I told the capturer determined.

"We shall see" The capturer told me.

So we both transformed and our magic met each other. The capturer's magic was strong but not as strong as mine. I took them down and they landed on the ground their cloak coming off to revel someone who looked almost like Pixie.

The crowd cheered me on and smiled.

"We have a hero now. You'll be able to fight off Katheryn right?" The crowd asked.

"Huh?" I asked shocked by the sudden question.

"No, I was just saving Luna. Just because I save Luna doesn't mean I'm ready to fight for the whole world" I told everyone.

The kids started crying a bit then.

"But my sister. She's in danger. If you won't save her then who will. No one else has your kind of magic power?" The kid whined.

I was quiet then unsure of how to reply to that.

"The kids right you know. No one else has the kind of magic power to stop Katheryn" The capturer stated.

"Wait.....weren't you trying to steal her power a second ago?" I asked them.

"Er........I mean power. I need power for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Give me power to feast upon!" The capturer stated.

"However....Your right. With my kind of power it would be wrong to step down from this fight. Plus, the whole world is depending on the Dragonfires as always" I replied.

Everyone smiled and cheered then and I had a newfound determination in my eyes. I was going to take back my town and save the world. Katheryn wasn't about to let the world rule with darkness. We'd find a way to get out of this situation as we always have.

I also noticed a glowing light around me and I seemed to feel a bit stronger now.

I didn't know where it come but it felt as though it was some ancient magic that was long buried.

I then went home and began my mission.

(In the heavenly world)

Eight stones glowed with bright lights. They varied in color and this angel had been waiting for these stones to glow signifying when to gift the fellow Dragonfires with some of their magic from 15, 000 years ago. They couldn't handle it all at once though. So the angel did the ritual she'd practiced every day of her life but his time for real. And so the true power of the Dragonfires began to fully awaken.
