Some art I did for Hope. She kinda looks like this. (Though I did her good side and evil side for.....reasons......)  Hope you like. Anyhow, to the main part of the story.

(Joseph's point of view)

Hope stayed in the same spot for the longest time still trying to process what just happened. That being that her sister, Angel, had taken Katheryn's hand and had agreed to turn to the dark side. I was there as well but I saw that darkness had entered her heart with how frozen she was. Even Loki, who I guessed was their father, was frozen in a bit of a haze. They definitely didn't seem to be taking this so easy.

"Hey, Hope don't you think it's time to go home. I mean you've been sitting there for the past few minutes" I asked her softly.

"I'm dreaming! It isn't really happening. She would never really do anything like this. We're the only family she has left. She wouldn't turn her back on all of us. She.......she couldn't.....why would she.........she has no reason to......" Hope started to cry.

I looked at her in sympathy and was about to comfort her when Loki came near and did just that. "It's gonna be okay, Hope. We'll make it through this" Loki told her.

Loki also glared at me and so I backed off a little bit. I guess I couldn't blame him. After all, he didn't really know me and I was suddenly around his daughter.

I watched her with worry heavy on my face though. She was extremely kind and I knew better than anyone that a kind heart could be tainted when faced with betrayal and two-faced people.

I was worried that this might be the thing that would taint her heart. That thought was painful to think of. I barely knew her but I knew I had a bit of a strange attachment to her.

"Let's go home, Hope" Loki stated.

"No. This was the last place she was. I won't leave her. I want to stay here in case she comes back!" Hope argued.

Loki then looked at everyone as if asking for help from them.

They all shrugged their shoulders not particularly sure how to handle the situation.

I took a couple of steps forward and Loki held Hope a bit closer to him.

"Can I try? I promise I have no evil intentions. I only wish the best for her" I asked.

"If you hurt her there's nowhere you can hide, boy" Loki growled at me.

"D...dad" Hope pleaded.

So Loki then let go of Hope some and I touched her chin and made her look up at me.

"I promise you everything's going to be alright. You'll get through this. I haven't known you for a long time but I do know that you are a strong warrior. You just have to have hope that it will get better" I told her.

"How do I know that? That it'll get better. First I lost mom and now I've lost Angel. What if...What if I lose Dad next? I can't deal with that. I don't care how strong I am. He's the only dad I have" Hope told me.

"Try to think positive. Your good at that. You told me that there could be good vampires. Maybe the future ahead isn't as dark as you are picturing it right now" Joseph stated.

Hope got dangerously quiet then. "Hope, you okay?" Joseph asked.

However, she was off in her own world of thoughts.

(Hope's point of view)

I stood in a world with lots of people happily running around and the sun high in the sky. It was whether that wasn't too hot or too cold. You could enjoy both hot chocolate and ice cream in the same day if you wanted. I walked through this town until I came to the center of it. That was where a heart laid. When I looked at it something seemed off.  Upon closer inspection, I realized the heart was breaking slowly over time. I also noticed that some of the people's smiles were vanishing. It made me sad and I tried so desperately to make them happy but no matter what I did I only made things worse. It reminded me of her and how she always was with me.

"It's all her fault!" I remembered her saying.

I also remembered all the things Angel had said to me over the years. It was all seemingly over some sort of hidden anger within. She never would talk about what was bothering her though. Plus, she seemed to have a flame of darkness within her ever since we were kids. I wondered what it was but knowing that deep down I'd never know the real answer to that unless we saved her from the flames of evil. I wasn't so sure she could be saved. After all, she was pretty far gone as of now.

I tried to shake the thought but it wouldn't completely leave me. Within that moment a flame of longing grew in me. I didn't try to fight it as I closed my eyes and it wrapped itself around me. Within that moment some stormy weather brewed outside. It didn't bother me as it normally would though. I let the darkness wrap itself around me. The next thing I knew a dark light surrounded me in real life. I had the same brown hair but now I have black eyeshadow and all I wore was black. There was also a broken heart shape on my cheek.

"Hope, are you okay" Joseph questioned me.

"Heh. I'm better than okay. I'm doing amazing" I stated with a deeper voice. It also had a bit of an evil tone to it.

"Don't do this. What about your family?" Damon asked.

"Please. What used to be a family is now broken. I won't sit by and watch it all break down until there's nothing left" I declared as I pushed past Joseph and then flew high into the sky and then went to find Angel to join her.

Everyone else was left speachless at these events.
