Chapter 21

Mia's POV

Before Xavier left we decided to meet around 12 tomorrow. I have to go pick Ethan up first then bring him back here. I told Xavier I had no clue what was wrong but of course I knew what was wrong with Ethan. It's my parents. This whole is getting to him. I need to speak to them. The boy is only 6 years old for fucks sake. They can't carry on like he's a teenager who knows how to handle his emotions. I know now for a fact that one of these days my parents are gonna call me over "to talk". I'm not the one that needs to be talked to.

"So what the dick say?"

I turned to see Esmey making her way out of her room texting on her phone.

"Oh they aren't together anymore. They just happened to be at the same place. Nothing but a coincidence. I'm pretty sure he hates her guts after everything she did to him. Whatever it is. He said something about her crushing him"

She raised an eyebrow "and you believe him?"

I nodded. "Yes. Yes I do." she nodded and plopped down next to me. The next 10 minutes consisted of nothing but us talking about Xavier for some reason. I didn't tell her that Ethan was the reason he came. I don't want to get her involved. Xavier too. I know how close he is to both of them. Now isn't the time but sooner or later Esmey will get to know.

"I still can't believe that out of everyone we managed to get someone like Xavier to even give us a second glance. And I also still can't wrap my head around why he's staying in this building while his family practically owns a mansion. But oh well. He's your problem, not mine." she shrugged laughing

"What do you mean mine?!" I burst out laughing.

"Bitch please. Don't play that card on me"

"Oh fuck off." I shoved her playfully. She gaped at me with a smile before jumping on top of me.

"Bitch!" she screamed. She then put her finger in my ear. Oh my god she just gave me a wet wiily.

"Esmey what the fuck" I couldn't help the laughter that erupted from me. I somehow managed to push her of me and pin her against the floor and began tickling her.

"Okay. Okay I'm so-sorry !" she spoke through her fits of laughter.

"I win" I got up, a smile of victory on my face

"You do know I'll get you back sooner or later"

"We'll see." I said as we both sat on the couch and watched TV the rest of the night enjoying each other's company before we headed off to sleep.

Groaning I wipe the sleep from my eyes I took my phone looking at the time. 10am. I sit for a while starring at the ceiling before I get up and do my daily routine. Which included lying in bed for like 10 minutes and thinking how tired I am. Opening my closet I pulled out black leggings and a black hoodie. It's a thin hoodie. After dressing I decided to leave my hair open today and then finally I pulled out a pair of sports shoes. I don't know where Xavier is taking us but im sure this outfit will be alright. It's not like he'll take Ethan and I to some fancy restaurant right? Applying a liquid liner and a bit of lipstick. Shoving my phone and some money and a few other items in a small bag, I headed out my room. Opening the fridge I took a small tub of yoghurt and an apple before I made my way to the car. Okay now to go fetch Ethan. I'm not exactly quite keen on going home right now. Basically all I want is to take Ethan out and bring him later on tonight. It's a Saturday after all. It's not long before I'm pulling up the driveway. I pull out my keys of the house from my bag. Yes I still have keys to a house I no longer live in. I make my way to the living room where Ethan is sitting on the floor watching TV. I hear noise in the kitchen. I make my way there to see my mum making breakfast.
