"So what happened that made you leave Jordan's house so fast? I wasn't expecting you to meet me at the mall." Casime is walking next to me barely listening to me. "Casime? Do you hear me talking to you?"

We stop in front a fountain and I grab his face.

"His family had made a surprise visit." He looked so sad.

"And? Did you meet them? Like what happened?" I hated when he was like this.

"Naomi, he said I was a friend. This was his chance to come out and tell his parents but he didn't. I don't know why I expected him to do it." He sat down on the bench and covered his face. I rubbed his shoulder.

"Casime, he is going to come out when he is ready. You remember how hard it was for you." He looked up at me.

"Yeah I remember, Naomi. But I also didn't have a boyfriend waiting for me. We have been doing this shit for a year. I have been patient but I'm just wondering when he is going to realize that he is cheating his self out of freedom." Somehow, I find myself sympathizing with both sides of the situation. On one hand, Jordan is scared of being shunned because he wanted to be with Casime. Then there was Casime's point of view, all he wants is to be claimed proud and openly. I really hope that a resolution will come soon.

I sigh and pull him to his feet so we could keep walking, "just give him time. Just give him the love and support I gave you when you needed it. It's not easy telling the world that you're gay."

I guide us towards a lingerie store and Casime groans. He tries to pull away but I smile and drag him into the store.

"Naomi, I hate this store. Can I go next door instead?" I put my hands on my hips and shake my head no.

"Nope, you're tagging along with me today and this is on my shopping list. I want more cute panties and bras. So you're going to help me." He groans again.

"My god woman, why? It's not like I actually care about what you wear for Janell." I rolled my eyes and push him down in a chair and told him to stay put.

I was walking around the store, just casually browsing when suddenly I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turn to see who wanted my attention.

"Hi, sorry to bother you but I was wondering did you need me to pull that set from the back? I think the style would be perfect." I look down at the set I had in my hand.

"Um, yeah that would be great." The sales woman quickly went to retrieve my set from the backroom while I waited.

I looked to the chair where I had left a cranky Casime, only to find it empty. I honestly would have been more surprised if he had listened.

"Ma'am, I looked but that particular color seems to be completely out of stock at the moment but honestly, I think this burgundy would suit you so much better. You have a nice brown even skin tone that this color would seem to highlight a lot better." She said.

I tilt my head slightly looking at the small pile of fabric, "I'm going to take your advice besides as long as it fits, I don't really care." She nod and giggles.

"Are you checking out or did you have your eye on something?"

"No, I'm ready to check out." I follow her to the counter and adjust my purse that hung on my shoulder. I watch her ring up my merchandise, bringing up my total.

"33.94, will that cash or card?" I fished out my wallet and pulled out the appropriate amount of cash. She bagged my items and I took them politely while giving her slight smile. "Come back soon."

I left out the store, looking for Casime. I spotted a shoe store and I figured he would probably be in there. I approach the store and immediately spot him talking to a girl.
