After Anne and Jack ate breakfast and left for the hospital and work respectively, and I had cleaned up the kitchen and done any other minor chores I could find.

I sat at the kitchen counter trying to decide what to do with myself for the rest of the day. Basically all the chores were already taken care of.

At some point during my mental debate Kylian came down the stairs yawning and rubbing his eyes, I had pretty much gotten used to him coming down at this hour, I still haven't gotten used to seeing him half naked yet.

As he stretched his flat stomach contracted, my eyes slid down from his messy hair down to his happy trail, only pausing when I reached the band of his pyjamas that as usual slung low on his hips, the prominent V that is so common in the male species disappearing in his pants also.

When I looked up to meet his eyes I saw him watching me watch him, "G'morning" he said a knowing flint replacing the sleepiness in his eyes.

I tried not to show how embarrassed I was. "Hey."

He made his way over to the cupboards, grabbing a bowl and cereal he poured some, got out some milk and sat at the stool. I checked my phone again, Declan still hadn't texted me back. I groaned he was my only actual friend. How dare he ignore me?
I had to remind myself that he was at work.

"So how are you gonna spend your day off?" Kylian said around a mouthful of Cheerios. I shrugged, "It's not like I know anyone or anything. I'll probably just watch a movie or something." He nodded while he brought the bowl to his lips drinking the milk, when he was done he fixed his eyes on me licking his lips before commenting, while pointing his spoon at me.

"You...are very boring." He said bluntly. Before putting away his bowl in the sink, I set a mental reminder to wash it out later.

I was still stunned at his statement, I mean, it wasn't a lie or anything but I hadn't expected him to come right out and say it. I hadn't yet decided on how I felt about his words before he continued.

"Lucky for you, I am good at making staying in...fun." He had turned to me, now leaning on the sink with a smirk.

"Enlighten me then O Master of the Sacred Art." I said my voice dripping with sarcasm.

"You should call me master more often, I like it."

My eyes widened as Kylian walked pass me and out of the kitchen with a stupid ass smirk on his face, I could hear him going up the stairs. I was too stunned to even come up with a witty comeback.

"Lee are you coming?" He called from the top of the stairs I could hear the shit eating grin in his voice, I wanted to slap him upside his head so bad.

Huffing and grumbling I made my way up to Kylian's room, he was setting up his game controls on the little sofa facing his TV. There were packs of snacks thrown over the little table that was between the sofa and the Game Center that had his games.

"I don't play video games. I don't know how." I said making my way over to the sofa and plopping down, grabbing a packet of Sour Patch Kids from the snack pile. I pretended not to feel Kylian's incredulous stare on me, I grinned while dragging my eyes up to meet him.

"I think I found me the perfect sacrificial lamb." He said a slight frown marring his features.

I just shrugged.

"I'm going to want you to make a list of all the things normal people our age has done that you haven't. We need to remedy this." He continued in a serious tone.

I'm pretty sure he was overreacting; it was just a stupid game. I shrugged and made a noncommittal sound. I went back to eating my snack, only looking up when I felt his gaze on me.

"What?" I asked sighing,
