I guess one of the perks of owning your own business is that you get to take time off whenever you want.

Which is what Jack and Anne is doing for the weekend, taking Katherine to go stay with her Grandmother while they went on a weekend long couples retreat or whatever. When I woke up this morning, and they told me their plans over breakfast I had frowned.

"But I could take care of her for the few days." I said, both Parents looked at me oddly.

"You wouldn't want the time off?" Anne said slowly.

"I just...I got used to having her here to keep me busy and now she'll be gone for a whole weekend. I won't know what to do." I said groaning.

"I'm sure Kylian can think up a few things to Keep you both occupied." She said shrugging.

I resisted the urge to spit my coffee all over their granite marble counter top.

As my mind slid quickly into the gutter. I struggled to school my features to not hint at what I was thinking.

"I'm sure a tour of the place is well overdue, you barely leave the house as it is, beside Kylian's grandparents have been dying to see her." Jack said, I huffed.

They were right about me not having explored the place yet. I've only been in this country for a year and a little less than a month. I spent the best of last year getting my papers and identification in order. Before I knew it, it was winter and I was held up inside trying to get used to the drastic change in weather.

I agreed begrudgingly, to both parent's delight.

"Okay, I guess it's selfish of me to want to keep her to myself." I grumbled.

Anne patted my hand, consoling me, "She'll be back in no time." They said before finishing their breakfast and going upstairs to go finish pack.

I dragged myself up the stairs and made my way into Kylian's room. He was right where I left him, laying on his stomach, one hand under the pillow and the other spread across the bed. I groaned and climbed onto his back, straddling him before laying forward to press my cheek against the hard planes of his back.

"They're taking Katherine away from me Kylian." I whined, he groaned.

"Who and why?" he said in his gravelly morning voice.

"Your parents, they're taking her to your grandparents' house and then they're going to spend the weekend together or whatever."

Kylian flipped his body forcing me to fall onto the bed beside him, he was now wide awake for whatever reason. I looked at him, his eyes were twinkling.

"This is serious!" I cried slapping him, "Be serious."

He grinned, "We're going to have the house all to ourselves." He said.

I rolled my eyes, I guess that had its perks but still. I sighed. I knew he wouldn't understand.

NOBODY UNDERSTANDS

I flipped over so my back was facing to him, he pulled me to his chest, bringing us into the spooning position.

"Why are you so excited." I said with a groan that tapered into an embarrassing moan when he had thrust his pelvis forward, signifying he knew what I was referring to.
