Alyssa & Rilen

Dating: 2012-2015

Engaged: 12/2015-5/2016

Alyssa: 22, brown hair, brown eyes, petite, smart, simple yet beautiful. She has a past, more experience than Rilen. Sex was just Sex, until she met Rilen. She had no intention of anything happening between them let alone a serious relationship starting college. But the moment she met him, she was drawn to him and she knew he was about to change everything.

Rilen: 21, Strawberry Blonde Hair, Blue/Green eyes, Tall 6'2, Average build. He was a virgin when he met Alyssa, had no intention of being in a serious relationship at the start of college but he wanted her to be his.. She was his first love, first real and serious relationship. She was the girl he was supposed to end up with in the end.

The two started talking summer of 2012, left for college thinking they might remain friends. But in October of 2012 they decided the feelings they shared for one another was worth trying a long distance relationship in college. It was NOT easy, but they fell in love. In 2013 they moved into their first home together. As each year passed the more serious their relationship got, the more they fell in love. Or that's what Alyssa thought. There relationship shared its ups and downs, Rilen struggled with many things but was sure about one thing, and that was Alyssa.

2015 started off rough, Alyssa felt as if they weren't the same, something was going on but wasn't sure exactly what. Rilen denied all possibilities she thought of and made her feel crazy... She wanted nothing more than to be with Rilen but gave him the chance to take a break more than once, she knew him only being with her and only her was creating a fog in his mind and thinking he might be missing out on something greater. As much as it hurt her to think of that, she wanted him to be happy. Yet he said no. Fall of 2015 they moved to Oregon together. Still feeling off and like something was wrong, Rilen proposed to Alyssa that Christmas. This was his way of reassuring her. But Alyssa was right in the long run and found out many things that were almost too much for her to handle. She loved him. She loved him even though he was causing her pain. She felt herself breaking as time went on and fought hard to make things work. Until May 2016, they hit rock bottom and Rilen gave Alyssa no choice but to walk away. Alyssa felt like she was dying, Rilen broke her down until there was nothing left, and she felt like nothing. Walking away from him, saying that last goodbye was the hardest thing she ever had to do. She didn't want to; he didn't want her to leave but they both some what talked it out and that was what he needed. She simply wasn't enough for him anymore and she didn't want to keep fighting for someone who didn't want to fight for her. Rilen prayed that he made the right choice, although he felt sick for hurting her, telling her "if its meant to be, we will find each other again.. when we are both ready."

So, she left. Thinking this is it. "He is the Love of my life but I'm simply not his."
