Two Worlds

Chapter 1

Like any young lady who is ready to face the world, is moving out of her parents' house. For this young lady, Roxy is moving far from home; South Carolina with a view of the beach. "Are you sure you want to move miles away?" "I'll be fine mom. It's a new chapter in my life, filled with new adventures and risks ready to be taken." "Still... I won't be here to help you when you need it." "Mom." "I know. I'll pray that you'll be safe my daughter. Remember all I told you before." "I will mother." With a tight hug Annie said "good bye." "Bye mom." Later that day Roxy took a break from unpacking and decided to explore some. Only amount minutes of exploring that Roxy bumped into someone, "sorry about that." "It's fine. Are you new here?" "Just moved here." "Welcome then." "Thanks." "If you're exploring let me show you a view so amazing and beautiful at sun set." "Alright, by the way my name is Roxy." "Megan. Nice to meet you." "You too." "It may take about thirty so minutes to get here but truly look at this view." "It is amazing, to see the ocean go on for miles... maybe later I'll come back and see it at sunset." "Later?" "I'm not done unpacking yet." "I see. How about I help you? You'll finish faster if you have help unless you have family or friends here helping you." "I told my mom to go back home, so no I don't have anyone here to help me unpack or show me around. If you want help, I'll appreciate it." "Really!?" "Yeah." "I forgot to tell you there's a trail that goes down into the cave, which outlooks the ocean... you can even place your feet in it somewhat." "Sounds interesting." "I know you could be doing something else, so thank you for helping me." "No problem. I hope you don't take this the wrong way but you shouldn't be so trusting." "I don't trust people easily it may seem like I do but..." "What about me?" "If you wanted to do something you would of by now." "True. So, I guess you can completely trust me then?" "Not completely but in time. It's getting late, why don't you head? I'll see you tomorrow." "Well okay." First place Megan took Roxy was the trail cave then to the beach, and some stores. "Thanks for being my tour guide, you even showed me how to get to Blueville preschool. Do you want coffee?" "No thanks and you're welcome. So, when do you start work?" "Next week. By the way that cave was cool, I'll def go back there."
