"Alright this is where we go." "Where? All I see is rock, that mountain." "There's a cave we jump into so we can transform." "I see." "Follow me." Nothing else was said, Erika followed Roxy into the cave, and saw her transform which told her to transform too. Once Erika put her necklace on, she transformed into a human with rosy like cheeks, wearing a long gray skirt that looks cut up or shredded at the bottom like a designer skirt, and a light gray spaghetti top. After Erika got her walking legs straight, she followed Roxy to her house. "What now?" "Come in first." Erika walked inside the house expecting something. "Sit down there if you like." "-ok." Erika walked over to the couch and sat, still expecting something to pop out of nowhere. "What now?" "Now we wait for the treasure to dry so I can sell it, to get money." "Money, so you can live here?" "Yes. Why don't I make some food for us." "Make?" "Watch and you'll see what I mean." "Ok." Erika watched Roxy cook as if Roxy was doing magic. In amount of time Roxy had cooked eggs, sausage, and toast. "What is all this?" "Just try it, you'll like it." Without doubt or arguing Erika took a bite and then was wolfing it down, "take it easy. You don't want to choke now. Here some water you can drink." "Drink?" "Yes, if you're thirsty or your throat is dry." "Oh." Erika took the cup of water in hand and looked at Roxy in confusion on what to do. Roxy then took her cup and drank some to show Erika what to do and she herself was also thirsty. Erika drank all her water and then asked for more which Roxy was happy to oblige. Once dinner was over Roxy showed Erika her home more, Erika loved all she saw that she momentarily forgot about the treasure. "It's dark out like in the ocean but with some light too." "Yeah, if you're tired I can show you where to sleep." "Ok. Can we go now?" "Of course." Roxy showed Erika to her bed and Erika yet again seemed interested in the bed and covers, still went to bed and fell asleep instantly. Erika woke from a smell that was coming from the kitchen. "Morning. Have a seat, I'm making something for us to eat." Erika sat at the kitchen table, in the same chair watching Roxy cook. Roxy turned off the stove, brought the two plates of french toast over to the table and then got two glasses of water and brought it over to the table as well and sat down. "What is this called?" "French toast. Trust me and try it." Once again Erika tried some new food and thought it was amazing. "After we're done I'm going get new clothes on and cast a spell on myself so I look different to others. Everyone here who knows me believes I'm somewhere else right now so I can't let them know I'm here. A little confused and hesitantly Erika said "ok." Finishing breakfast and cleaning the dishes Roxy went got dressed and casted the spell upon herself. Roxy then got a bag from her closet gathered up all the treasure, then both Erika and Roxy left to an antique collector. Sometime later Roxy and Erika walked out with around two thousand dollars. "So does this mean you can live in that house now?" "Not yet. I have give the money to someone else." "After giving the person money you can live there?" "Yes, until I have to pay again but that'll be later. Alright lets go." "Go?" "to pay that person so we can go back home so I can study and so you can see your clan." "Ok." After paying what Roxy had, both Roxy and Erika went to the cliff and left the human world. On the way back to Erika's clan both Erika and Roxy collected small seaweed and clams and such, carrying it all in the satchel. When they arrived the clan was happy to see them back safely and was more so when they saw that Roxy and Erika brought back stuff. Although the satchel was mysterious yet interesting to all the mermaids in the clan, they all took turns holding it and looking at each aspect of it.
