Now that Roxy was back she continued her studying. Like before Mira gave special seaweed to help in the beginning, before Roxy knew it she picked up talent. Within a year and couple months Roxy picked up some new skills which was tested out of the cavern. Showing what Roxy learned was relieved, she passed her final test from the elders. "Come back to continue or learn to hunt." "Yes miss. Brandy, I look forward to that day." "You're welcome any time." "Thank you miss. Mira... I must be going, good bye, I'll come visit when I can." "Wait!" said Erika. "Don't worry Erika I'll be back to visit." "That's not it I want stay in the human world to experience it a little. May I elder Mira?" "Wait, what about your family and clan?" "Don't fret, we'll still be here when Erika returns." "So I can go then?" "Of course, be safe." "Don't worry Roxy will help me, we'll help each other." "We will, don't worry about us we'll be perfectly fine." Before leaving both Roxy and Erika hugged the elders, Roxy even thanked the elders for teaching her and that she'll be back. Roxy even left the satchel behind for the clan to use and that she'll send some more bags with Erika when she returns. Erika and Roxy both left on their journey back to the human world, but before reaching above water they stopped at the ship wreck like before found another bag, and took more treasure. Back at Roxy's house they took the treasure out and placed it all in the bathroom sink so it could dry." "You'll have the same bedroom from last time. I'll make some lunch for us and then we'll go out a bit." "Out? We just got here. Why go out?" "You want to explore the human world, that's why we're going out. Plus I need to buy somethings for us." "I see." Roxy and Erika did go out later and to Erika it was quite amazing, it was like setting a kid loose in a candy or toy store. For a few days Erika explored while Roxy got back to work at the Blueville preschool. The preschool was happy to see Roxy back to work with a friendly and happy smile. By the end of the month Erika gotten used to the human world that on some days she forgot about being a mermaid or her necklace. One day out of the blue Audrey reappeared on Roxy's front porch. "Miss. Audrey nice to see you again." "Likewise; you as well." "Come in and relax, we can catch up." "Of course." Once Audrey stepped into the kitchen and saw Erika sitting down.. At first Audrey was nervous for she thought she was human until she saw the necklace and sensed the mermaid aura. "This is Erika, a friend of mine." "Nice to meet you." "I'll let you talk-" "No I think you'll be helpful here." Both Erika and Roxy looked at each other back to Audrey, Roxy then said "helpful?" "You're going to help me teach Roxy how to sense mermaids no matter where they are. She can't always rely on or look out for a necklace or bracelet. I realize you got back from more training this month but you need to learn this too." "How-" "My visions, remember." "Ah, right I remember." "Good girl for keeping your promise to me." "Elder Audrey, you're the one Roxy was talking about before?" "Indeed." Erika just stood there turning pale and rosy cheeks. "What's wrong Erika?" "Nothing, I was just thinking is all." "Tell her if you want to." "Tell me what? What's going on?" "Elder Audrey is well known in my world... She is very wise, a good spell caster, very considerate, see visions of the future, and at one point in time all the merpeople voted for her to be queen of all merpeople but she turned it down. It's an honor to meet you." "Now, now remember what you said I turned it down. I'm like any other merperson." Erika only nodded her head while Roxy just stood there taking it all in. "Lets get your training started. Erika and I will go out, somewhere we've never been and you will try to find us. At Erika's clan they gave you magical seaweed to help you. I will do the same, by the end of this week you'll be a natural." "Ok." "Give us an hour before you try and learn to sense us." said Audrey. Audrey then handed the magical seaweed to Roxy saying "eat." After Roxy ate the seaweed both Audrey and Erika left the house going to places they were sure they never been to. After an hour Roxy left the house trying to sense Audrey and Erika, even with magical seaweed in her it still seemed hard for Roxy to find Erika and Audrey. Everyday practicing hours a week was indeed hard like the first day but within that week it got a little easier. At the end of the week Roxy got pretty good at sensing mermaids. "You're a natural now." "No. I doubt that, it was that seaweed that helped me." "It did help you but only half of this week. I made sure the amount given was small so you could hopefully pick it up faster." "Why faster?" asked Erika. "My grandson, Daniel plans to come above to find you. Whether it's to talk or attack you I don't know." "So Roxy might be in danger?" "Erika it's fine." "It is not fine!" "I don't plan to expose myself nor does he know what I look like. We will meet but as friends that way he'll get to know me, later on I'll tell him." "But-" "That is an interesting plan. We must go Erika." "Elder-" "It will be easier for Daniel to find Roxy if we stay, so we must go." "Thank you miss. Audrey. If I need anything I'll let you know Erika... Wait will he be able to detect the necklace and or bracelet?" Both Erika and Roxy looked at Audrey wondering what the answer will be. "He will detect the bracelet since it's a warner and protective shield. The necklace is fine, keep it hidden. I'll have to take the bracelet away so he won't find you easily." Slipping off the bracelet Roxy handed it to Audrey saying "here." "Wait what about her protection?" "Roxy can protect herself, after all she's a spell caster. We must go now." As Roxy stepped forward Audrey's hand came up motioning Roxy to stop. "We'll say good bye here in case Daniel is near the cliff." Roxy only nodded her head and then a few seconds later she came forward hugging both Erika and Audrey; "good bye. I'll see you later when everything is fine." Nothing else was said, both Audrey and Erika left. It was about an hour later that Roxy sensed a mermaid and it wasn't Audrey or Erika.
