Izuku could feel his whole body jolt to a halt as he froze. Face to face with the ash-blonde teen responsible for so much torment in his life to the point it got near unbearable.

After all these years, Izuku thought he had moved on. That he'd gotten over the fear he housed for his old friend. He was so damn sure he was passed this.

But at this exact moment, he still felt weak and unresponsive in the glare of those blazing red eyes.

Katsuki slowly moved his feet to the ground, as they were previously residing on the desk, in response to the gaze of his teacher. But this miniscule gesture gave Izuku the impression that he was about to be jumped.

However to his surprise, and mostly relief, the blond simply turned his gaze away from him, a bored look settled on his features.

Midoriya could hardly believe it.

This display of attitude surprised the nervous wreck immensely, but in due time, he quickly recognized the aura of 'Don't come near me' that he gave off. So not everything came as a shock.

As Aizawa walked to his desk and waved Izuku over to follow, his mind still screeching in protest and embarrassment.

What was he thinking?!?

Of course Katsuki wouldn't jump him! Izuku was being ridiculous. It's been years since they last interacted with one another. It's even possible that Katsuki has changed to some extent.

They wouldn't let just anyone into the hero course after all. And he doubted that the teen recognized who he was anyway. It's not like Izuku hasn't changed since then either.

"Good morning class" Aizawa spoke from behind his desk once Izuku had positioned himself beside the hero. Izuku gulped as he stood there nervously, infront of the class, trying his best to ignore the fact that every single one of them were undressing him with their curious eyes.

"Good morning Mr. Aizawa" the class replied back, their attention not leaving the curly haired specimen stationed beside their teacher.

Before Aizawa had a chance to continue with his morning introduction, he was already faced with an abundance of raised hands. He sighed and just decided to answer one person to get this over with.

"Yes Kirishima?"

"Who is that guy? Is he a new classmate?" He asked excitedly.

"I was just about to introduce him, and would appreciate if everyone halted their further questions for now" He explained, happy to see the remaining hands lowered.

"This here is Izuku Midoriya" he started, noting how Bakugo's attention quickly snapped in confusion before settling back down, attention properly grabbed.

"He will be job shadowing for the teachers assistant position I've formally requested. From this moment onward, I expect for him to be treated with the upmost respect. Treat him as if you would any other member of the staff faculty here in U.A."

Many nods of understanding came from around the room. Shota, pleased at this, turned towards said kid and gave him the now empty coffee cup. Izuku stared at Aizawa in question, until he realized that the teacher wanted him to show what he could do.

Izuku practically sagged in relief. At least this is something he was confident in.

He sighed softly and brought his hand up. The class stared as he began to flex his fingers and preform a sequence of over exaggerated motions that soon brought forth droplets of steaming hot coffee.

Those at the front of the class were the first to be engulfed by the calming scent of bitter coffee beans, right before the scent washed over the entire room.
