Shawn stayed that night like he said he would. Him and my dad have always had a weird relation ship, but it seems stronger lately.

It's not like this is the first time Shawn has stayed the night at my house, even if it is a school night. He usually sleeps in Sam's room or Cam's. Father lets Shawn sleep in my room though, he trusts us enough. Shawn knows that I feel uncomfortable with that most times. But tonight is different.

After Kayon left and my talk with Shawn, Maya came down stairs. We spent the rest of the evening watching movies, just the three of us, until it became late. We said goodnight to Maya and that's when I asked Shawn to stay in my room that night.

I lay awake starring at the ceiling. I was having troubles getting to sleep. Turning my head to the left and spotting Shawn on the floor all cuddled in a sleeping bag, I whisper his name. "Shawn. Are you awake?"

"Yeah." Comes his soft reply. "You alright? Something on your mind?"

I shake my head no before realizing that it's dark so he can't see me. "No." I say finally. "I just... I can't sleep."

I could hear him move around and know hes turning to stair in the dark in my direction. Because of my wolf shift I can see him in the darkness, but he can't see me.

"Do you want me to come sleep with you?" He asks. His face isn't joking or flirty. He is being serious.

I nod my head, thinking again how stupid that is. "Please?" It would feel nice to be held by Shawn like when we were kids. Maybe I'll even get some sleep.

Shawn climbs out of his sleeping bag and as he makes his way in my darkened room to my bed side I scootch over and lift the blanket for him to climb in with me. He does and as soon as his head hits the pillow next to mine and his arms snake around my waist I start to feel drowsy.

"Better?" He asks. I don't even have to look to know he has a tired yet flirty grin on his face.

"Much." Cuddling to his chest, his heart beat begins to slow, signaling that he's going back to sleep.

Not long after his breath shallows I can feel myself drifting off. I'm going

going

and I'm

gone.

Water was everywhere. I couldn't escape it. No matter which way I swam, which way I looked, all I saw was water. The strange thing was it didn't seem like I needed to breath.

A figure suddenly appeared a few feet in front of me. It was a male, swimming my way.

As he came closer it started to seem like I knew this figure but I couldn't see his face. "Who are you?" I call. My voice is muffled and sounds like the waves it's self. The figure doesn't answer, so I try again. "What's your name? Why can I breath?"

Then... I couldn't breath. The figures hand shot out and grabbed my arm as if to hoist me out of the water. "You're going to be alright Kiana. Just hang in there."

Kiana? I try to ask but I can't get air in my lungs. It feels like my lungs were on fire. Air. I need air!

"Do you know who I am?" The figure asks. I still can't see his face so I shake my head then claw at my throat, trying to breath. "It's me. I'm-"

Before the figure can finish his thoughts someone is shaking and calling for me.

"Vivian! Wake up!"

My eyes snap open and focus on a startled looking Shawn.

"You ok?" He asks. "You sounded like you were choking for air."

"I.. I was?" I sit up fast and my head instantly feels woozy. "Whoa."

Shawn stables me. "Take it easy. That must have been some dream... want to talk about it?"

Taking a look around the room, my eyes land on my clock. 2:04am. Wow. "No." I say, knowing Shawn must be exhausted. "We should get back to sleep. School and all."

"Alright." He lets out a sigh as we both try to get comfortable again. "Tomorrow?" He asks.

I agree. "Tomorrow." And we both slip back into sleep, Shawns grip on me tightens, making it more protective then before.

The next time my eyes opened the sun was beating through the window. Shawn was gone.

Looking around the room I couldn't find any evidence he was here. His sleeping bag was gone a long with his over night bag.

"Shawn?" I call. No answer.

Getting out of bed I head to the bathroom door, knocking lightly I ask, "Shawn? Are you in there?"

The door opened revealing a half shaven Cameron. Shaving cream was on the half of his face that was still yet to be shaven.

"Nope. Last time I checked I was still Cam." He says.

I roll my eyes. "Do you know where Shawn is?"

He shrugs. "Probably at school... where you should be."

"School?" My body instantly hits high alert. "Are you serious!? What time is it?"

"9:45."

I yell in frustration and bolt for my room. I quickly shed my sleep shorts and top and switch into some jeans and a black tank that said 'Run with the pack' on it. Cliche right? But to be fair I got this top before the shift.

Cameron steps out of the bathroom and into his room so I rush in there and brush my teeth. Running back to my room while brushing my hair out I grab some socks and catch a quick glance at my clock...

6:12am

"CAMERON!!!"  I Shout at the top of my lungs. I get a husky laugh in return. That little weasel. Why would he do that? God I hate brothers.
