 Iskall's POV:

We reached the bottom after about an hour later. Grian and Mumbo were both panting slightly, " Why is X's base so deep?" Grian whined as he rubbed his tail.

I wanted to say something clever and funny, but let's face it, we're stuck in a fishy situation and a joke may make it less tunalerable. Grian's tail twitched as he let go of it.

The three of us kept swimming until we reached an underground portal. There was a note attached to it, " Is this what X wanted us to find?" Mumbo questioned hesitantly as Grian swiftly took the note.

The hermit read the note as his ear fins twitched, " It's from Mighty...." he raised his eyebrow as he looked up at us. Grian started to read aloud, " Dear hermits, the fire stone has been taken. I've managed to track down the stone to you guys' world surprisingly." he started.

Swimming around Mumbo, Grian kept reading, " The stone is apparently being held deep inside TFC's bunker. I don't know how the taker managed to get it under there but it's there." Grian looked towards the others.

" So, I see why X and the others remained human." Grian folded up the note and handed it to Mumbo. The only hermit with pockets stuffed the note into his coat pocket. He let out a sigh as his flippers twitched.

I crossed my arms, " What about Doc though? He can't do underwater. We just witnessed what happens." I sighed as I thought back to Doc's immobile body. Grian and Mumbo both nodded at me, " I suppose X could do his bubble trick." Mumbo suggested.

That idea honestly could work. The three of us quickly swam our way back to the top of the base. We needed to tell the others about the note, so we can all return back to our original bodies.

((M-Gr-Mighty stumbles by with a sign that reads, " Travel skip! 2 hours later))

The other aquatic hermits were all just hanging around at the bottom of Grian's base. Well, TFC and Joe were at the top with the others. I'm pretty sure I saw Tango, Impulse, and Zedaph at the boat.

I popped my head out of the water. Python and Ren were nervously looking down at Doc as he breathed carefully, Cleo was talking with Jevin, Joe, and TFC, and X was pacing around. Grian and Mumbo came up next to me.

" X!" Grian called out causing the whole group of land hermits to jump. X turned towards us and hurried over. He kneeled down in front of us, " What? Wha-What's hap-happening?" he stuttered over his words.

Mumbo took out the note and handed it to X. The admin took the note and read it over a couple of times. He also read the note to the land hermits. Everyone let out a collective sigh.

" What are we suppose to do about Doc?" Jevin questioned, " I mean, I can absorb water, Cleo doesn't need air, Python has his mask, and X has his helmet and flipper attachments." he pointed out.

X crossed his arms, " I suppose I could hold a bubble for that long. " he put his hand to his chin. The admin looked over at TFC, " Can we go into your base Tin?" he asked. TFC nodded as his tail hit the water.

TFC scratched at his tusk, " If it gets me and the others our legs back, then go right ahead. Here." TFC handed Cleo a map, " Ya'll are gonna need this." he smiled. The hermit looked around, " I'll go ahead and unlock the bunker door." he dove down into the water.

Joe looked up at Cleo, " Can one of ya'll drag Doc away? I want to come out 'cause my legs are getting more wet than a soaked sponge." he sighed. Python nodded and carried Doc to the other side of the platform.

The platy-Joe climbed up onto the platform and wiggled his platypus feet. Cleo handed him a towel. I raised my eyebrow, " I thought your body wouldn't be wet." I frowned as Joe looked down at me.

" My hair, shirt, and arms are not." Joe answered swiftly as he dried his legs. The three of us nodded at this. I looked over at Doc as he opened one eye. He yawned as his red eye came on.

Doc flinched slightly, " Where.... Where am I?" he questioned carefully as he looked around. The moment he saw Ren his eyes widened. The cyborg looked around slowly and frowned, " The world's been flooded...." he whispered as everyone nodded.

The hermit sighed as his tail twitched, " I must thank you all for draining the water out of me, but I, unfortunately, cannot feel my arm." he sighed as he detached his arm. Doc placed his arm into his bag as he slowly got up with the help of Python.

" I'm just glad that you're okay Doc...." Ren grinned showing off his sharp teeth. The dog's tail wagged slightly. We all kept talking until TFC came up, " Alright ya'll, The door is now opened. " he spoke with a nod.

I watched as the land hermits all got ready. Doc stepped into the bubble that X made, and everyone swam down to the base.

I crossed my arms, " Good luck in there." I smiled as X nodded. The group entered the building and TFC closed the door behind them.

The older man looked back at us, " Now we wait." he spoke in a low voice as he scratched his tusks again.
