An Error Amongst Hybrids (END)

 X's POV:

 Wither was awake by the time I lowered him into a new, giant lake of water. I watched as the wattpadder paddled around and tried to get used to his webbed hands and lack of feet. The siren swam around and came to the surface of the pool.

 " Where are Mighty and Aqua?" Wither questioned as his ear fins twitched. I motioned towards the other room, " They're bringing over some chairs and tables." I told him with a smile. Wither nodded as he looked at his black tail. The Wattpadder let out a sigh, " I still can't believe that someone like Naughty Netty could jump us like that." he huffed at he slapped his webbed hand onto the water.

 I shrugged my shoulders as I hung my feet into the deep pool of water. Wither's ear fins twitched as he looked at his tail, " I want my legs back..." he sighed as he stared at the appendage. 

 Mighty and Aqua came back into the room with chairs and a table. Wither looked at Mighty, " I see you still have your ears and tail Mighty." Wither cocked his head in confusion. Mighty tiredly nodded, " I managed to focus and get them to stay... I've had 'em so long I can't think of myself without 'em." she sighed.

 The two sat down in the chairs they brought. I decided to just keep my feet in the pool in order to talk to Wither better. Aqua let out a yawn as she scratched her ears, " Do you want to know to how to get your legs back?" she questioned as her leg started to twitch. Wither perked up excitedly. 

 Aqua stood up from her chair and walked over to the tank. She kneeled down and looked at Wither's tail. The hybrid fixed her glasses as she had Wither plant his tail onto the land. The wattpadder touched certain parts of Wither's tail and told him to focus on walking on land.

 Wither's tail started to radiate with a glowing energy. His ear fins twitched as his tail unfused into a pair of pale legs with fins on the back of his ankles. A long, black tail curled around his leg. 

 " Important question Aqua.... Why do I still have my pants from before we swapped?" Wither questioned as he weakly pulled himself out of the water. Aqua and I both helped him out. I looked over at Aqua as she explained, " Your author-ness is fused with the species' magic. The two work together to keep you clothed when your out of the tailed form." Aqua shrugged. Wither looked at his soaking wet pants and shook his head.

 Wither opened up his inventory and brought out a pair of swimming trunks, " So, X, do you think you can figure out a way to turn us back to normal?" he questioned as he walked over to the bathroom. I nodded at him with a smile.

 Mighty leaned back as her seat, " How do you plan on fixing this mess X?" the halfhel questioned as her ear twitched. I looked towards her, " I can probably make a one time fixer." I shrugged as I opened up the creative inventory. 

 When Wither got out, I told him about the one time fixer. This caused the siren's tail to swish around happily. I quickly started to pull out some materials needed and began working on the device to turn the three back. 

 I admit that I'm not as smart as Cub with transforming machines, but I have learned a thing or two. As I was working, Mighty and Aqua got into a barking match against each other. Wither was awkwardly sitting to the side with his communicator out. He waved towards me and pointed at the two. I nodded with a small laugh as I continued to work.

 This barking match behind me soon turned into Mighty morphing into a full on wolftiger and pinning Aqua to the ground. The two kept growling and biting at each other until I finished the device. 

 I stood up and turned around to face the three. Mighty flopped off of Aqua and turned back to 'normal'. The three stood in a row and waited for me to use the machine.

 " Alright.... This may hurt a bit...." I spoke quickly as I fired the device off. The three glowed and quickly changed back to their original species. Aqua hugged her tail and smiled, " Oh, how I missed you..." she beamed.

 Wither changed into a bat and flew around the room before turning back into a person. Mighty's shrugged as her ears twitched. The wolftiger hybrid looked over at Wither, " Thanks for not turning into bird this time Withy...." Mighty's tail twitched. Wither shrugged his shoulders. 

 I waved the three goodbye and headed off to EVO to help fix Netty and Martyn.
