Author's Note:

This story takes place a few hours before the beginning of A Call from Nowhere. Here we have a wild Tango doing some stuff. With this little oneshot in place, I may talk about the other stuff that happens with this story.

 Tango's POV:

Zedaph and Impulse were in other world doing some more realistic activities. This left me, a bored hermit, to roam the world of hermitcraft.  I yawned as my tail twitched; my body relaxed as I looked around at the others.

" Hey Ren!" I shouted as I watched past Ren. He was sunbathing on top of his van. The hybrid's legs were waving in the air as he stuck his tongue out. I shook my head. He's letting his dog side come out. I'm sure Doc will come and watch around him later.

Speaking of the creeper, Doc came out of the mall and climbed up onto the van. He waved at me with his robotic arm and laid down on top of the van. He made a tired sound as he started to sun bathe.

I stretched out as I put my elytra on. I know I could've just shifted into my power form, but I'm too lazy to actually do that. I mean, it's called a power form for a reason anyways.

Flying through the air was just as peaceful as the walk. I let out a sigh as I looked down at the grounds below.

Grian was showing the Evolutionists around Sahara. They were all laughing and playing around with each other.

Mumbo and Iskall were sitting on top of Sahara. The taller hermit was looking at a large thing of blueprints with Iskall looking over his shoulder. Iskall looked up and waved at me. I waved back as I continued flying towards my base.

There was something that I wanted to check out.

I don't do it this often, but when my cousin and best friend aren't tailing me, I can do this. I glided down to my base and put my gear away. My tail twitched as I walked down a secret, nether based spiral staircase.

I took out a torch and put my hand on the warm wall. The lava on the other side kept the room both warm and slightly lit, but I still needed the torch when I got down to the ancient corridors. The stairs were rugged as my eyes glowed.

The faint glow on a purple and black portal lie ahead. It swirled and shifted as if it were alive as I made my way over to the portal. I put my hand on it as my tail twitched, " It's been awhile my old friend. Let's get find those demonic files 'ey?" I grinned as I walked into the portal.

Walking into the library, I noticed a skinny, tall ginger with grey cracked skin. I smirked as I walked over to the table. A raven haired man was stroking the sleeping man's head.

" Well, if it isn't Tom and Jason Philips." I smirked as the raven haired man jumped. The raven haired guy, Tom Philips, looked at me tiredly. He fixed his glasses, " Tangotek. What brings you to the library?" he questioned as he looked down at his brother.

Tom yawned, " Ignore Jason. We've been tracking down Cliff and Liam due to their disappearances." he stretched. He crossed his arms as he pointed to the stairs, " You know where to go my winged friend. I won't tell Mighty of this visit like always." he sat back down in his chair.

I stretched out as I descended down the stairs. The torch lit itself as I casted it around. It was a dark, ominously cold area of the library. I mean, it was located deep under the Woltria kingdom. I think it was located underneath the clouds as well.

My tail twitched as I put my hand on the door wall. I traced my fingers down the stone wall as I looked around. The walls soon became lined with bookshelves, but I wasn't interested in that.

In reality, I was more focused on a small filing cabinet that was well hidden in the bottom corner of the room. I kneeled down and opened it.

All those who dealt with a demon.

That's what was in this fire. There wasn't much to it. Impulse was there because me and him made a stupid bet. With him losing a bet, I turned him into a four year old. The problem was that I messed up and ended up as a kid as well. We were both lucky that Joe found us crawling on thing. Well, me crawling on things. Impulse was sleeping under a bench.

I hopped into a swivel chair and kept reading, " Let's see Grian - bet, Iskall - bet, Joe - I owed him after he saved me from drowning, TFC - needed some quiet, etc... etc..." I shook my head. This file was just the hermits. I was the only demon hermit, so I already knew all of these.

" Okay, let's see here.... EVO, Stumpt, and Woltria..?" I tilted my head as I opened the EVO file first.

 Only one name was present.

 Mini.

I continued to read through the file and leaned back slightly, " He wanted to destroy the server because of the Property Police?" I narrowed my eyes. Okay, make a mental note:

Confront Minimuka and figure out where he made the deal and with who.

I sighed as I put the file back and opened the next file.

" So, Rik... You made a deal that was honestly safer...." I mumbled as I read through the file. Rik just wanted to protect the others from the Alabastors, so he made a deal that would cause him hell for the rest of his life.

He got turned into a demon himself. Well, he had their influence. It was no wonder I could smell that something was off about him.

I shook my head and smiled. For a bit of a fool, at least his idea was noble. I could probably talk to him about it and hope I don't end up with teeth marks in my arm.

I yawned and put down the Stumpt file. The file about Woltria, or as it was known as, Central Server. I opened the file and read it.

" Okay.... These are recent notes...." I frowned as I scanned through the document. Apparently Mighty has been sighting a new island that has rose above the clouds. She says she needs to tell everyone that there may be new people pretty soon.

I continued to scan through the file. I flipped the page and stared blankly at the file.

" It's trying to come back... I can feel it. I should warn Grian that- GAH!" I fell back as a sharp pain entered my head. I breathed heavily as screeching came from upstairs. I narrowed my eyes and swapped for my power form.

" Well, I need to get out of here.... Tom and Jason should be out of here by now." I growled as I opened a portal.

While I was leaving, I turned my head and narrowed my eyes.

 It was back.

The oozing, black creature was back.
