 X's POV:

Dragging Doc in the bubble, I walked down the stairs. Doc floated helplessly, " Can't believe my arm decided to not function...." he sighed as his tail twitched.

Python looked back at us, " At least you can see right? That's a possssitive?" he rubbed his muzzle. The snake hybrid blushed slightly. It was odd seeing the hybrid speak with the 's' syllable stretched out. He only did that when worried about something.

" I suppose it is Python. You've got a good point." Doc smirked with a nod. When we reached the bottom, I let Doc out of the bubble as his tail wagged slightly. He stretched out and held onto his tail.

Cleo shook the water of his hair and dried it with a towel. I took my flipper attachments off, and I followed up with taking my helmet off.

I looked at my soaking wet armor, " Ugh, I wish we could all remain dry like the others." I sighed as I made the bubble disappear. The others, except Jevin, nodded in agreement. Jevin simply chuckled, " I mean, I am practically half made of water." he grinned as he made the slime that went around his whole head like a mask go back into his shoulder.

Jevin crossed his arms. He usually made his slime go over half his face, but I guess he could make it go around his full face.

Everyone laughed and rolled their eyes at Jevin's statement. We all walked deeper into the older man's base.

Cleo lead the way with me following closely behind. I looked around the base; I honestly haven't seen the inside to this secretive place before. The place was pretty bleak looking, but the homey area that we passed had a new underground fireplace with bookshelves lining the room.

The next room we passed was a strange lab with beakers, cylinders, and other oddities. I wonder what TFC did down here.

" So, it should actually be right here...." Cleo stopped. We were at the lowest level of the base. There was a hidden door in the wall that lead to an eerie room with scratched out photos of each of us.

I kept looking around as my body shivered. Doc let out a huff, " Well, that's a bit odd." he frowned as I walked over. The creeper showed me two pictures of Mighty and some other people.

The first picture was Mighty, a guy, and a bunch of girls. They all had their eyes crossed out. They all seemed incredibly happy with each other.

The second picture had Mighty, a couple more guys, and a couple more girls. This Mighty, however, didn't have her ears and tail.

I shivered at the eerie pictures. Whoever decided to hide in TFC's base knew about Mighty's multiple friends. They seemed to hate them just as much as they hated us.

Cleo and Jevin both let out a gasp, " Over here!" Jevin called out. Doc, Python, and I hurried over to the two's sides. Jevin pointed towards a large capsule where a blood red crystal sat. We all looked at it cautiously.

" The fire crystal." I spoke in a whisper. We all looked at each other then at the crystal. This is what balances this universe. What can cause people to change at a whim. I still question what would happen if the water crystal was taken, but I honestly don't want to know what would happen now.

We all started to work on getting the crystal out carefully. Doc and Jevin were the main ones that got the thing out.

Python held onto his tail. He twitched slightly, " That's odd. That's really odd...." the snake mumbled as he picked up a note. I looked towards Python as he came over to us.

I took the note and twitched slightly. I read the note over a couple more times. There was something that didn't sound right with the note. It didn't sound like anyone that we even were aware of.

" What does the note say?" Cleo asked as I looked over at her. I sat down and read the note aloud.

" Dear hermits, Evolutionists, Stumpt, Mighty, and the many of 'Wattpad',

So, I believed that separating the water stone and fire stone would destroy you all. The bad news is that it didn't. I will find a way to kill you all, but I suppose for right now you all should be happy that I'm giving you the stones back.

I absolutely will not tell you my plans. The good news is that I am happy about my news creations. I love their little-ness, and you all will probably forget about this note by the time my plan is realized!"

I frowned and crossed my arms at the note. Everyone looked at each other as Doc and Jevin secured the crystal. We all quickly escaped from the base and towards the surface.

The others needed to hear about this because it becomes too late.

We needed to fix the world and get everyone back to normal. All the servers needed to be fixed before we tackle this bad guy.

I opened up a bubble and Doc hopped in. Doc's tail wiggled, " This is some dangerous news. It doesn't even seem like this person is aware of how dangerous they are." he frowned deeply. I got my flippers and helmet on. We all swam back towards the top of Grian's base.
