The legend returns

Chapter 7

Sora awoke to a voice in the room. "Sora Hagane, she is rumored to be the team captain of the Raging Bulls. Although she hasn't had a single battle for them in two years." The voice said. Sora opened her eyes and looked up to see a tall boy with pale skin, a frail body, and classic-green hair, wearing a dark green dog mask that had red highlights on the ears, eyes, and mouth and a bright-cerulean snout. He wore a one-piece dark spring-green sleeveless suit with a light-green stripe from the collar down to the pants, the right leg sleeve cut off at the right thigh, a yellow ring with rhombus points around the torso section, a yellow chain image on each leg sleeve, a deep-azure fur scarf/cape around his neck, and orange-red shoes with light-green toe caps and out-soles, and dark spring-green top-line and stripe on each side of the body. "Great another one." Sora growled. "Another what? Masked blader?" The masked boy asked. "What does Theodore want this time?" Sora asked. "You think I work for Ashtem? That's hilarious." The boy replied. Sora narrowed her eyes at the boy. I really don't trust this kid. She thought. "Who do you work for?" Sora asked. "I normally work for myself, but I have made an exception for Evel and Hearts." The boy replied. As if on cue Hearts and Evel walked into the room. Sora growled at Evel, making him stop in his tracks. "Well I see you have met Kyle Hakim. He is going to enter the Battleship cruise and gather information for me. In return, we'll help him win and he'll face Valt." Hearts said. "You aren't going to get away with this." Sora growled. "You can't do anything since you are stuck here." Kyle said. "Battle me, I win you let me go and not interfere with the Battleship cruise. You win, you can continue with your plans." Sora said. "A chance to face the number one blader in the world and take the title. I accept." Kyle said. Works every time. Sora thought. The chains that held her to the wall released her, she landed on the ground, stood up straight and faced Kyle. The boy took a few steps back and a stadium came out from the floor. Sora took Cho-z Draco out of her bey holder and unhooked her gold and white launcher from her belt. Kyle held up a familiar green bey. "Guardian-" Kyle was interrupted by Sora. "Kerbeus." Sora finished. "Should have known you would do that. You knew Ken Midori." Kyle said. "I'm guessing Ken gave that to you. Let's see how well you do against me." Sora said. The two bladers got into their launching positions, Sora took a normal stance and Kyle had his launcher aim for the center. He's gonna try and claim the center. Too bad I'm going to beat him there. Sora thought. "3...2...1...LET IT RIP!" They yelled in unison. Draco flew around the stadium in is left rotation and activated its Cho-z wings. Kerbeus spun in its normal right rotation and headed for the center. Draco settled in the center just before Kerbeus got there, they collided and Kerbeus was sent backwards. "We're done here. Dragon Slash!" Sora yelled. "Chain Guard!" Kyle yelled. Kerbeus headed for the center. The two beys collided, Draco's Cho-z wings made contact with Kerbeus and burst it. Sora picked up Cho-z Draco, put it back in her bey holder and hooked her launcher back onto her belt. "For someone who talks a big game I expected more of a challenge. I'll be leaving now." Sora said before walking towards the door. The door opened and right as Sora turned the corner, a dart landed on the wall beside her. Should have known they would do that. Sora thought before she began running down the hallway. She came to a fork and turned left and headed towards the exit, she felt the darts whizzing pass her head. She ran through the entrance to the castle and onto the bridge. She felt a dart prick the back of her neck, she began to stumble but she kept pushing herself to run. Just a little farther. Sora thought. Black began to take over her vision, she collapsed to the ground and stared ahead. I tried at least. Sora thought before she passed out once more.

~Small Timeskip~

Sora opened her eyes and found that she was chained back to the wall. She growled in irritation and pulled against the chains which sent electricity through her. She gritted her teeth to prevent screaming in pain before the shock ceased, her head hung low in defeat. They're bad guys, of course they aren't going to honor their deal. The only option I have is figuring out why they have me here. Sora thought. The door opened allowing Hearts to walk into the room. Sora looked up and glared at him. "I understand that you are upset but please let me explain." Hearts said. "I don't really have anything else to do." Sora replied. "The reason you're here isn't because Evel wanted to test how strong you are. Phi wanted me to capture you so you wouldn't ruin his plans. He also wanted Shu Kurenai captured as well but you see how that went." Hearts said. "Does this plan have anything to do with Free and Lui?" Sora asked. "Unfortunately yes." Hearts replied. "Why is he after them?" Sora asked. "They caused you to turn on us." Hearts answered. "What do you mean? I just found out two years ago that me, Lui and Free were friends, and a day ago that you and Phi were also our friends. What happened?" Sora asked. "That accident really took a toll on your memory." Hearts said. "What accident?" Sora asked. "You, Free and Lui were in a car crash. The thing was, you were all in separate parts of the world. None of you woke up with memories of each other. Thankfully, the damage wasn't permanent and I've seen that you three have almost regained all of your memories. I've also noticed that when someone says something that relates to your lost memory, it returns to you. How did Evel explain it? Like a trigger of sorts." Hearts said. That explains the memories coming back. Sora thought. "I have a feeling you are wanting to help me get the rest of my memory back." Sora said. "I actually want to help all three of you. You remember Jake right?" Hearts asked. "Wait, Jake was working for you?!" Sora asked. "Yes. Anyway, he is going to help Lui regain his memory. And I have another kid helping Free regain his memory." Hearts explained. "And when Phi wanted me captured, you took it as an opportunity to help me regain my memory." Sora said. "Yes. Are you willing to trust me?" Hearts asked. "If we were friends before I don't see why I can't trust you now." Sora replied.
