Chapter 12

The bladers stood on the deck of the ship, Katsumi wasn't standing by Fubuki like she normally would. She was standing a little ways away from the group, purple eyes watching the screen. "We appreciate you guys being patient while we set everything up. Time to announce the next challenge." Beyeen said. Katsumi immediately lost interest in what the AI had to say and left the deck. She walked into one of the training rooms and stood in front of the stadium once again. She got into her launching position and launched Alter Forneus into the stadium. Can I ask what Phi plans to do with all the bladers he controls? Katsumi wondered. "You'll find out soon enough. He doesn't plan to do anything until after the Battleship cruise anyways." Evil Katsumi replied.

~Begin vision~

Katsumi picked the locks of the chains that held her in the air. She kept an eye on her evil purple eyed copy, making sure it didn't know that she was trying to break free. The chains released her, she fell to the ground and landed in a crouch position. She stood up and unlocked the cell door before sneaking towards her copy. "That Suou boy has been begging to see you again. We have half the nerve to kill him if he keeps asking." Evil Katsumi said. Something in Katsumi snapped, she tackled her copy from behind and both were knocked to the ground. "You will not hurt him!" Katsumi roared. The two began to claw, punch, do anything that would cause harm to the other. Katsumi was sent flying a few feet away from her copy, she landed on the floor with a grunt of pain. "You really think you can defeat me? Hilarious." Evil Katsumi said as it walked towards Katsumi. The red eyed blader groaned in pain as she forced herself to stand and face her purple eyed copy. Katsumi charged at her copy and they began to fight. She was able to land several punches and send the copy into a wall. "Seems like the tables have turned. Your done controlling me!" Katsumi growled. "My, my, what a fighting spirit. All to protect that boy. What was his name again? Suou? Maybe we should put his life on the line more often." Evil Katsumi said as it rose to its feet. Katsumi let out an enraged roar of anger before charging at her copy. The two collided and fell to the ground. Katsumi felt something cold and sharp pierce her side between her ribs, she looked down to see a knife. Katsumi growled before pushing her copy off of her. She slowly pulled the knife out of her side, letting out a few whimpers of pain as she did. "You dirty cheater." Katsumi growled. "You really think we are going to play fair? You'll quickly find out that we don't." Evil Katsumi said. Katsumi slowly rose to her feet, wincing a few times in pain as she stood. "You know you are going to lose Katsumi. Just go back into the cell." Evil Katsumi said. "As non-painful as that would be, I cannot allow you to continue to control me." Katsumi said. "You act like you have a choice." Evil Katsumi said. "I'm going to at least try." Katsumi said. "So be it." Evil Katsumi said. The two charged at each other once more, Katsumi got the air knocked out of her and found it hard to breathe. She was knocked backwards, into the cell where she lay. She was struggling to breathe, her eyes were wide with fear and pain. "I told you that you would lose. Don't worry, you won't die from this. You'll heal." Evil Katsumi said as it chained Katsumi's wrist and walked back out of the cell. "We should do this again sometime, after you heal though." Evil Katsumi said before closing the cell door. Katsumi had no choice but to dangle from the chains and watch as her copy continued to control her body.

~End Vision~

Katsumi looked at the stadium to see Alter Forneus had come to a stop in the center. She picked up the silver and white bey and loaded it onto her launcher before launching it once more. The door of the training room opened and allowed Fubuki to walk in. "Mind if I practice with you?" Fubuki asked. Of course you can. Katsumi thought. "Yes, I do mind. I'd rather not waste my time on weak pathetic bladers like yourself." Katsumi said coldly. "What's your problem Katsumi? You weren't like this two days ago." Fubuki said. "It's not like you can do anything about it. Now get out before you lose more than a training partner!" Katsumi growled. Fubuki turned and left the room, leaving Katsumi to train alone.

~Fubuki POV~

Fubuki walked down the hallway towards the deck where Aiger was. What has gotten into her? Before she had that episode she wasn't acting like this. Could Phi have something to do with this? Fubuki thought. He walked onto the deck and saw Achilles flying towards him. He caught Achillies in his left hand right as it flew past him. "Fubuki?!" Aiger said, evidently shocked by the blonde haired blader's sudden appearance. "You seem distracted. You want me to practice with you?" Fubuki asked. "I will not allow you to smite Aiger! I am his rival and I will be the only one to do so." Xavier said. Ok... Fubuki thought. "I'll be referee then." Fubuki said.

~Katsumi POV~

Katsumi's eyes narrowed as she watched Salamander burst, allowing Fubuki to win the match. Suou lost his last Beystar and therefore his time on the Beycruiser was over. Katsumi left the stands and walked towards the exit to the arena where Suou would be walking out. She felt herself regain control and her eyes returned to their normal red color. Huh? What's going on? Katsumi wondered. She walked through the doors and saw Suou walking towards her with a smile on his face. "Katsumi." Suou said, a small amount of joy was in his voice. "Suou. I have been wanting to tell you something as well." Katsumi began. "I'm sorry but I didn't give you both your freedom so you could celebrate." Phi interrupted. The two turned towards the red and blue eyed blader. "What do you want?" Suou asked, annoyance in his voice. "You lost Suou. I think you know what happens after that." Phi said. Suou's eyes were wide with fear and he began to back away. "Please don't. I won't lose again." Suou pleaded. "I wish Lui had begged for his life like you are right now. I'll give you another chance. Don't fail me again." Phi said. Suou's eyes turned a darker yellow before they closed once more. Katsumi felt herself begin to lose control, she opened her mouth to speak. "Suou, I-" Katsumi's words were cut off when her eyes turned completely purple. Can I not tell him how I feel? Katsumi wondered. "I love cliffhangers. Especially on something like this." Evil Katsumi replied.

~Suou POV~

Wait, what was she about to say? Suou wondered. "You might find out later. Or not, depending on if you fail us again. But right now we need to head back to Japan." Evil Suou replied. I can't wait for the day when you get out of our heads. Suou thought. "I know. Lets go, say goodbye to Katsumi." Evil Suou said. I hate you. You know I can't. Suou thought bitterly. "You're right, I do know. Anyways, lets go." Evil Suou said.
