Scarlet Eye watched as the multi colored bey spun counterclockwise around the stadium. The bey was wobbling and weaving up and down the sides of the stadium before it crashed into the wall and burst. "Why can't I get this right?!" She yelled angrily as she picked up the pieces to the bey and snapped them together. "Perhaps you should try changing up your launch. The one you have currently was for your old bey, which was destroyed easily." Phi said. "So was yours from what I heard. There was nothing left of it. Am I right?" Scarlet Eye jeered. "Shut it." Phi snapped. "Or what, Mr. Lord of Destruction? You gonna shatter my new bey? Oh wait, you can't. You don't even have one." Scarlet Eye taunted. Next thing she knew, she was pinned to the wall with Phi's right hand on her throat, choking her. The mismatched blader's eyes were narrowed and filled with anger. "I said shut it." Phi growled. "You're not my boss. I don't take orders from you." Scarlet Eye said, her breath wheezy from Phi choking her. She felt her windpipe beginning to be crushed as Phi pressed his hand harder against it. She couldn't breathe and black splotches began to dance in her vision. She kicked Phi hard in the stomach, making him stumble back and let go, causing the blonde blader to drop to the floor. Scarlet Eye began coughing and taking in deep breaths while she rubbed her now aching throat. She glared at Phi through the lenses of her mask before standing up and walking out of the room. Who does he think he is?! Some kind of ruler? He better figure out he can't go around choking people out or killing them just because they don't do what he wants or they get in his way. She thought as she walked down the hallway. She turned to the left and walked into the cafeteria before walking over to the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water and downing it. The cold water soothed her sore throat and lessened the pain. She threw the empty bottle in the trash before turning and walking out of the cafeteria and back to the training rooms. She saw what seemed to be a familiar blond haired boy disappearing behind one of the corners. She ran to catch up to them and turned the corner but the boy was nowhere to be seen. Why did they seem so familiar? It couldn't be Fubuki could it? No, Ashtem promised to keep Fubuki out of this. So, if that wasn't Fubuki, then who was it? Scarlet Eye thought. She turned and continued to walk down the hallway, eventually reaching her training room. She walked inside to find Phi waiting for her with an impatient and angered expression. "Now will you at least take my advice and try a different launch?" Phi asked. "Maybe. If I do, what kind of launch do you suggest?" Scarlet Eye replied. "Perhaps something close to a normal launch, something to keep your launcher flat and even with the stadium." Phi replied. "Maybe something like Fubuki or Hearts' launches." Scarlet Eye said. She held her launcher in front of her and kept it as flat as possible. "Time to do some experimenting." She said to herself.

~Fubuki POV~

Fubuki walked down the hallways towards an unknown destination. He had no clue where he was being taken as his evil counterpart wouldn't tell him. He could've sworn he saw his twin sister earlier. Unfortunately, the mask hid the girl's face to where he couldn't recognize her. I know she has to be here somewhere. Phi took her and Phi is here, I've seen him so many times that I'm beginning to think this is where he took Katsumi. I hope someone comes and saves us soon. The training here is harder than anything Shu has put me through. These people push you until you collapse and then keep pushing. Ranjiro keeps having problems with his endurance. And Aiger keeps trying to break free, so much so that most of his training time is spent staring at a wall as he fights with Ashtem for control. Xavier doesn't look too good either, he looks pale and he actually looks sick. They push him really hard, I guess because either he's Xander's apprentice, a prince, or the fact that he can chop through several slabs of stone. I'm not doing much better. My arms feel like they are constantly being burned from doing so many launches and I think I may have done something to my right arm during training earlier. There's a stabbing pain that goes all the way through it everytime I launch now. Suoh is one of the bladers I haven't seen often. When I do, he always looks like he's gonna drop any second and he gets worse every time I see him. I don't know how much longer we can last here. This place is the stuff of nightmares. Fubuki thought. "Quit complaining. At least you're getting way stronger than before." Evil Fubuki said. I don't see how when we're being pushed to the point that we injure ourselves. It's going to ruin us if we aren't able to rest. Fubuki replied. "Perhaps you'll get to rest. For now, you train." Evil Fubuki said. Fubuki mentally sighed before focusing on where he was being taken. He walked through a door and was immediately met with freezing cold air. One time I wish I wore a jacket. Fubuki thought, already beginning to shiver from the cold. "You must be Fubuki Sumiye. I'm Azure Eye and for now your trainer." A masked person said as they walked towards the freezing blader. The person wore a black jumpsuit with blue accents and their mask was black with blue lenses. They walked past Fubuki and towards a stadium surrounded by water with two ice sheets on either side. "You're going to use these ice sheets to practice your balance." Azure Eye said before he stepped onto one of the ice sheets. Fubuki walked over to the stadium and stepped onto the remaining ice sheet. The sheet shifted under his feet and he was trying hard not to fall off. I'd rather not freeze today! He thought. "You think I wanna freeze?! No thanks!" Evil Fubuki said. The ice tilted too far to the left and Fubuki felt the icy water go in his shoe, making his sock wet and freezing his foot. Let me have control! Fubuki mentally yelled. His eyes turned to their normal red color and he was able to correct his balance and keep the ice sheet stable. He let out a shuttered sigh of relief as he shivered. He felt himself begin to lose control and fought to keep it. I'm staying in control because I'd rather not fall in that frigid water! Fubuki thought. "You shouldn't have gotten it in the first place!" Evil Fubuki yelled. Fubuki felt control slipping away from him. Please! I can't swim! He mentally pleaded. His eyes turned a purple color as he lost control. He as he turned around, the ice sheet shifted too far to the right, causing him to lose his balance and fall into the frigid water. Due to the terror he felt, Fubuki was able to take back control and his eyes returned to their normal red color. His arms and legs flailed around wildly as he attempted to swim up. He could only watch as the surface got farther away and the light grew dim. This is how I die. I drown because the psycho controlling me didn't listen and wait until I was off the ice sheet. Fubuki thought. His lungs began screaming for air and he couldn't move due to the cold temperature of the water. The plea for air became so strong that Fubuki let out the breath he was holding and the frigid water immediately entered his lungs. Black began to quickly cover his vision as he closed his eyes. Then he felt nothing.
