Krisha's POV

Finally, I'm home. After this freakin' long day, at last I got some me-time. Firstly,I must take a shower otherwise my panda will start complaining about me stinking.

No! not this again. This stupid phone, I'm gonna throw it or do something about it,so that I can get some hours of peace but I can't do anything as I have chosen this as my career knowing what it wants and requires. Umm! A phone call from hospital? What do they want now?

"Hello, Dr. Arora speaking."

"Good evening doctor, I'm sorry for disturbing you at this time of hour."

You must be!

"No, no, it's ok. Tell me what's wrong."

"Mam, there is an urgent case which requires your immediate presence."

"Ok. I'm coming in 10 mins."

"Ok doctor."

God! What have I put myself into?
Oh, I have to be there. Bye my sleeping and cuddling time.

After 10 mins

It should be important or I will kill them for sure. Upon reaching there I saw my boss standing there waiting for me. Uh!oh! That's rare. Am I in trouble? But I haven't done anything wrong?

People out there, please remember there was a sweet innocent doctor who helped everyone but was killed by her boss due to some shitty reason. Byeee everyone and may my soul rest in peace.

"Miss Arora, please come."

"What happened sir? You? Here? At this time? Anything serious?"

"Yes, Miss Arora we do have a problem here and it concerns you."

"A problem concerning me?
I didn't get it Sir."

"See, we have a special case here regarding a guy who has suffered a severe accident which affected his neural system highly and because of that he's now acting like a 6 year old. He can't remember anything that happened to him after he turned 6."

Is he serious?

Oh yes, he is. Didn't he just say yes when you asked anything serious? Stupid girl! How have you become a doctor?

Oh shut up! Silly mind. Let me concentrate on this 6 year old.

"Oh!Some kind of Amnesia I think.
But we can treat him easily by giving him some special medications.I'm sure he'll recover soon.But you could just have appointed any doctor.
You said something serious, concerning me?What is it?"

"Yes.I could have but the guy's family asked for you to be his doctor. They said that he is your school friend. And only you can help him to get his memory back."

Oh god! My friend? Who's he? Now I'm scared.

"My friend!!??Well that's kind of strange because I'm not much in touch with any of my school friends."

"Well,I'll leave it upon you now."

"Okay Sir.I'll surely look upon this case & will keep you updated with the details of undergoing treatment.Where can I find his family?"

"They are all waiting for you in the reception area."

"Thank you sir!"

Ok! Don't stress. He is just a friend. You can help him. He will be ok. Just hoping nothing will be serious.
Umm! Now I'm not so sure. Why do I see Aarav's parents here? Oh god! No!!!

(I rushed to them. And asked them what happened.What they told me left me shaking and shivering with fear.
He had an accident on highway with a truck driven by drunken driver.)

That son of a... How can he drink and drive? How can someone be so irresponsible?

'Oh hello! You are the Irresponsible one who is still standing here and cursing to that bloody driver and not going to check upon your beloved.'

Oh shit! You are right. Going going. And he is not my beloved mind you. Well not now.

"Uncle, where is he? Is he stable?"

"Yes.He's in ward no.5.You're Dr.Krisha?Beta,will he recover?
We've blind trust on you.That's why we only wanted you to be his doctor.Please set everything aside from the past & help my son."

"Yes uncle, aunty I'm Dr. Krisha.There's nothing much serious to be worried about him.Leave him to me, now. He will be ok. I assure you."

I said hoping to give them some assurance. They have already faced so much, no need for more negativity.

"Ok beta. Thank you so much for helping us. We exactly don't know what happened between you two but only you can help him now. Please, stay."

"I will uncle, I definitely will."

I will ask for his case file tomorrow from the office. For now it's time to face the inevitable. Thanks God that he doesn't remember me or I literally couldn't face him after these 10 years.

'These fuckin' 10 years with not a single minute without thinking about the one you are going to face now.' My mind replied.

Ok now let's go. I will face him and won't be weak.
