"And we're off!" Shouted a 7-year-old Hoseok as he runs around, balloon in hand, making airplane noises as he goes.
He continues until he heard a high pitched voice shouts from the antique house, beside him.
"Adventure is out there!!"
Hoseok jumps as he stares over to the antique house. He looked at the door, off of its hinges. Written in marker in big bold messy letters.
'Scouts of Adventure'
"Look out!"
He hears the same voice from the house. So he made the decision to go into the house slowly and quietly. Hoseok walks further into the house to see a girl, with his exact same hat and goggles. She looked almost his age.
"It's a beautiful day, winds coming from east.." The girls shout, playing with the wooden stirring wheel in front of her.
Hoseok looks around the room, he looks at the newspaper and magazine cutouts o airplanes and blimps. His favorite.
"What are you doing?!"
He screams as he sees the girl right in front of him, causing him to let go of his balloon.
"Don't you know that this is an exclusive club?!" The girl says through her two missing front teeth, "Only explores get here, not just any kids off the street!"
Hoseok started at her features. She was doe-eyed, with a round face and brown skin. Even though he was too young to even think like this but...
Boy, was he falling in love?
"Do you think you got what it takes?! Do you!" The girl asks.
"I- eh-eh- "Before Hoseok could answer.
"Okay, you're in" The girl smiled, placing her hand out so he could shake it.
And he did.
She then removes a pin from her sash, pinning it on Hoseok's shirt, "You're in the club now.." She smiles softly.
Hoseok looks down, playing around with his fingertips. The girl can sense his nervousness.
"What's wrong? Can you talk?" She pouts
"Hey...I-I don't bite.." She still pouts as she takes off her hat, exposing her puffy black hair. Hoseok's face turned pink and began to feel warm as he continues looking at her.
He was definitely falling in love.
"I'm Y/N..w-what's your name?"
Hoseok was silent for a moment before he finally answers.
"Hoseok."

As Hoseok grew older, he chuckled at the memory. He then saw his 7-year-old granddaughter Rosie run towards "Hey grandpa!"
"Yes, dear?"
"How did you and grandma meet?"
"Welp, darling. This is a long story." Hoseok chuckles again.
