So, for those who don't know, Bang Chan, the leader of Stray Kidz was seen wearing cornrows, during an event, (idk what it was lol) with his hip hop duo or something like that, and it has received A SHIT TON of backlash.
So I have heard both sides, and because I am black, I had to put my two cents in and will explain shortly. why I have issues with stan/cancel culture sometimes.
So first off, let's get the Bang Chan situation off my chest.

This man did NOT do blackface.
This man did NOT say the n-word. Or has said or done anything in a racist or discriminating manner. So I would like to ask.
How is wearing cornrows racist?
I will not judge, I need honest and truthful thoughts and opinions about this question.
Continuing on, with this Bang Chan situation, I don't know what happened during his v-live I don't know what he's done or said to fans, but there are some fans and there are some people who are begging and demanding this man to apologize.
I feel like...YES, Black folks are getting shit for wearing THEIR CULTURE.
I COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY GET IT.
But... If Bang Chan has to apologize, then LISA from bp has to apologize as well. (Unless she already has apologized and I didn't know)
AND I DONT WANNA HEAR SHIT ABOUT NAMJOON BECAUSE HE ALREADY APOLOGIZED AND GROWN UP.
I apologize for bringing Lisa into this but, Kill This Love was pretty recent, and I am trying to make a point.
I feel like people & stans should keep the same energy for both of them.
At the end of the day, TO ME!!!!! I think that Bang Chan should apologize and so has others who have done the same shit.

Now, let's talk about my love/hate relationship with Stan culture/ Cancel Culture.
Yes, Cancel culture can be entertaining sometimes but, it can be really annoying and stupid if people don't keep the same energy & cancel people for NO REASON.
And then, in stan culture, it is also entertaining but, people are gonna cape for people SO hard, people forget about themselves and it ridiculous.
