The three finally went on their way to Hyungwon's house. The walk was filled with silence, since no one knew what to say."Oh! That's my house!" Wonho exclaims, pointing out a small, two story house not too far down the street from where they were.
Hyungwon and Minhyuk look to where he was pointing. The youngest was surprised, but happy nonetheless. "You live next door to me? That's cool."
Wonho smiles brightly at the taller, "I've always wanted to have a friend that lived next door!"
Minhyuk whined, "You guys are lucky. I live two streets over."
"So? That's still pretty close and you're over at my house almost everyday anyways." Hyungwon playfully rolls his eyes, before sending him a teasing smile.
Minhyuk shakes his head and pouts at Hyungwon, "That's too far away from my best friend."
"No it's the perfect distance from your annoying ass."
"Yah! I'm older than you! I will not tolerate the disrespect, Chae Hyungwon."
Hyungwon smirks at the older and Wonho starts laughing at the bickering two. "You guys are funny. I like you."
"Awww at least somebody likes Hyungwon! How does that feel? One person likes you." The second oldest shows a look of mockery, but it didn't last long, before he finds himself being pushed into the grass. It was all that it took for him to push himself up and begin chasing the younger all the way to their destination.
After the two stop messing around, they finally arrive at Hyungwon's house and head straight to the younger's room. That was where Minhyuk and Hyungwon would usually situate themselves after school everyday. Minhyuk was always on the bed, Hyungwon on his desk chair, and now Wonho on the bean bag chair that was placed in the corner of the room.
"So, care to explain to me something?" Wonho needed an explanation of what had gone down earlier. The younger two didn't seem to pick up on what he was referring to so they send him confused faces.
"Why do you put up with that bullshit?"
Hyungwon sighs, knowing this was coming. "They're always like this. If we try to do something about it or if we ignore them all together, they just get mad and things get worse. There's no good solution. So we just let them do what they want to do and get it over with because it usually doesn't last. I told Minhyuk to stay off to the side when it happens because they were much worse to him if he tries intervening." He lets out another sigh and spins slowly in his chair.
Wonho was frustrated by this answer. "So, wait how long has this been going on?"
"The entire time I've been in high school," Hyungwon replies, in a nonchalant manner.
"Four years?! You've been going through this for four years?! Are you serious? I can't believe you let the fuckers get away with it. You haven't tried telling the teachers?"
Minhyuk shakes his head, "They know it's happening. They see it. They don't care. They believe that as long as it's not in the classroom, then it's fair game."
Wonho shakes his head. He was pissed. These two were so kind hearted, especially to him even though he was a complete stranger. He can't imagine why they would do this to the two in the first place. He vowed to himself that he was going to protect them. Especially since they've been so friendly to him.
The rest of the night, the boys spent eating pizza, playing video games, and getting to know each other. Wonho was happy to have them as friends. The same went for Minhyuk and Hyungwon. They were all happy to have each other in that moment.
