Chapter 20

Hyungwon was speechless and sat there for a moment with his mouth open. Was he really asking that? Was it real? He hoped Wonho wasn't pranking him. His heart was leaping out of his chest.

"Yeah- I mean uh yes I will. I will be your boyfriend! Wait, are you sure?"

Wonho nodded with a soft smile on his face. The type of smile to make Hyungwon weak in the knees. He couldn't believe this was happening.

Hyungwon immediately threw himself at the older, embracing him in a tight hug. Neither wanted to break the hug quickly so they fall back on the bed. They stay cuddled up for awhile forgetting about the world around them.

The only thing either boy was thinking was how lucky they were to have each other.

"Hey, hoes! I have returned."

Minhyuk walked into Hyungwon's room to find the two cuddling.

"The only hoe here is you," Hyungwon shot back.

Minhyuk made a noise to fake disgust, "Now I have to deal with you two being gross? Thanks for making me remember how single I am, but it's about fricken time that you two finally got together."

Hyungwon questioned in his mind how Minhyuk knew, but quickly realized they were still in a cuddling position.

"What if we just wanted to cuddle? And weren't actually in a relationship?" Hyungwon questioned.

"I would say that you're lying to yourselves because anyone with eyes can see how whipped you two are for each other."

Minhyuk snickered and sat down on the office chair in the younger's room.

"I'm not whipped!" Hyungwon spat out.

Wonho laughs, "I am."

Minhyuk nods his head, "At least someone admits it. Hyungwon you're so obvious about it, it's not even funny."

Hyungwon grumbles a response while hiding his face in Wonho's chest.

"Okay, you have explaining to do. Start with how the fuck your hair changed colors because that is crazy as fuck."

Hyungwon rolled his eyes at Minhyuk, who was currently spinning around in the office chair waiting for an explanation.

"My hair was originally white, but when I came here, I put a spell kind of thing on it as a disguise and had it black. It's really funny that we all have blonde hair now."

Hyungwon quietly laughed to himself thinking about how a couple of days ago he told Minhyuk that he didn't think he would fit blonde hair, but now that his old self is showing, he had blonde hair. He thought about his dad and how much he would freak about that.

"What are you thinking about, turtle?" Wonho quietly asks the boy in his arms.

Hyungwon smiles up at him, but shakes his head. "It's nothing. Just random thoughts."

Minhyuk couldn't contain his excitement any longer, "Okay, Hyungwon! Tell us everything about you! I want to know! Also, are you still going to school? Oh wait! Since you have your powers, does that mean you're going to fight Chanyeol and them? Imagine seeing their faces-"

"Minhyuk," Hyungwon cuts him off. "Are you going to let me speak? We don't have much time seeing as it's getting late."

Minhyuk simply nods his head and quiets down.

Hyungwon begins explaining everything, starting from how his life was as a child and all his friends, up until when he ran away. He even explained how he had a certain power that helped him conceal his memories temporarily for his protection. Finishing off with who Basileus was and why they had to fight him.

By the end of the explanation, Minhyuk was watching Hyungwon wide eyed on the edge of his seat, like a little kid listening to a bed time story.

"So, wait, you want us to help you? We don't have powers," Wonho voiced up behind the youngest.

"We will have to talk to Changkyun about that. I'm not entirely sure how that will work. I know I want you guys there to help. Oh! I also really want you two to meet my old friends. I really think you'll like them."

Hyungwon grows quiet at the thought of his past life and friends. He missed them so much and it hurt him to think of what they were going through all this time. He started feeling like a coward, running away. He didn't think anyone survived. It was a last resort he thought was the only option.

The three boys decided on having a sleepover that night. They were too excited finding out about who their friend really was. Wonho, especially, was feeling proud that he could call Hyungwon his boyfriend. He felt giddy that his crush even liked him back to begin with. Wonho knew he was going to try everything he can to be a great protector for the younger.
