Let your heart tell

I sailed without any direction.My mind uncertain of what I felt,memories of the kiss lingered in the back of my head.

At dawn ,I sighted my cruise heading towards me.Henry pulled me up into the ship.

"Did he hurt you miss"he asked with concern.

"No,I'm fine"I muttered.

"Miss,prince jeff was worried about you..you must go to him at once."

Henry guided me to Jeff's suite. Inside Aunt Helga was pacing feverishly.She spotted me as soon as I entered the suite.

"Baby...are you alright??...do you feel weak??"

"Im fine ,just a little exhausted from all the sailing"

"Are you sure..."

"Yes aunt Helga.....Please tell me what is going on around here...what is this place"

"Yes...oh dear you must be so confused.."

That's how she began to tell me the origin of the under earth...

I listened to her with fascination and wonder .How could we not detect this place after living for so long above it.

"So what are Jeff and Raymond fighting for and why do they want me"i asked"and why did you tell me to stay away from Raymond"

"Because  he wants to take away your affinity"Jeff said as he entered...

"My affinity???"i asked

."yes"he said as he bent down to kiss my hand"you are from a very rare and royal blood line which has the affinity to extract energy from nature"

I looked at my aunt in confusion and she nodded in agreement.

"Its a good thing that you escaped ,else he would have lured you into surrendering your affinity..and then finally killed you"he continued"thats what he always does to his victim.

He lured me.That stung.I couldnt  believe the things I was hearing.

"But dont worry Sandra...that traitor wont get very far"Jeff said and Aunt Helga nodded.

"Hmmmm..".I said"...I would like to go home.."I said.

Jeff seemed a bit disappointed .But then aunt Helga found her voice and said."i'll take her to my place.She will be safe there."

"Very well then,you may go"Jeff said as he hugged me"Be safe ".

"I'll try.."i said as Aunt Helga held my hand and chanted a spell.

We teleported through a portal...and I just couldnt resist asking..

"So am I a magician"

"Well we are elementals,our power source being nature"

"You mean I can actually perform magic???"

"You can extract energy,not perform magic...but you haven't been trained for that...i didnt think it was necessary...with you being with the humans"

"So can i learn now"i was excited

"I guess with the coming war...we have no other option "she sighed.
