the new gate

POV the courier
"It been a day and the new gate is almost done. oh and the new securitrons are here. Now on a personal note. Why did you decide to look after a child! six are you insane. you are barely able to keep vages safe." Veronica says anger. Dropping the clipboard she was holding.
"wow V. I saw her face and just felt so guilty. I had to do something" I says
She sighs
"fine but you should know that's not going to be easy," she says.
"where is she?" Veronica asks.
"talking to arcade he wants to meet her," I tell her.
"oh god I feel sorry for her then." she jokingly said.
"I think he wants to do a medical check or something," I say.
"makes sense" she resporneds.
"said it would take most of the day," I said finishing my point. I get up and leave the 38. When outside I am approached by one of the people working on the gate.
"ah, we have a tiny problem. The group who um, want to get the replacement gate at lease the left half haven't um come back yet" the man in his late twenties said.
"how long have they been gone?" I ask.
"For about four hours. It should have taken them two. I think something might have happened" he says worried
"how many people were sent?" I ask
"about ten people three armed mercenaries and seven other to carry the gate," he says.
"I'll go and have a look. Show me the way there should have taken" he then marks the path on the Pip-boy. Leaving Vegas I head on my way. I look around at these Old dusty roads and smile. It wasn't long ago when fiends and Vipers were everywhere but we managed to finish them off. some time go by and till I find what left of the group. I look over at the bodies. Leaning down removing my helmet and placing it down next to me. Each of the bodies has a hole going right through there chests looking more careful three were killed by the same object. some kind of energy weapon. the same on three more of them. the others were killed individually. suddenly my helmet is shot. Same kind of damage as the bodies. I duck for behind a Rock. "come out with your hands in the air" I hear a male voice calls.
"or what!" I yell back.
"my sniper will shot your legs off" they responds. I sigh and get up. "good job you got me," I say annoyed. "is this the one we're after?" he said in a device on his arm.
"good, let's head to the ship then. you move in front of me" he orders me.
"no, that not happening," I say to him.
"stun rounds take him down," he says into his device. something hit my neck.
"what the fuck was that," I said.
"why this he still standing," he said. "cybernetics your kidding," he said raising a pistol like a weapon. I pull my revolver and stare him in the eyes. then I realise he's not human. "your not human are you?" I say.
"no I am not I am a Kree. I am from hala..." I stop him there.
"I don't really care where you're from what I want to know is what you want from me," I say hostile.
"that will be clear in Time now drop your weapon," he said.
"not happening," I say as I pull the teleporter that will take me to the Big MT.
"you can't run," he said.
"I am not going to run. I am going to teleport" I said pulling the trigger. it worked I found myself in the think take. it's so different now but I used it to get back to the Mojave. I made it back to Vegas as night fell.
"six thank God what happen to you," Cass says as I walk in everyone looking at me.

POV the lone wander
As I enter the Bridge of Mothership Zeta.
"you lot called," I said looking around. everyone face had a worrying expression.
"what happened?" I ask with worry in my voice.
"the other day Sally thought she saw something on the scanner at first I thought she was imagining it but after checking again turns out something did go down." Elliott Tercorien said,
"was it another Zeta ship?" I ask him
"no, the ship identified it as a Kree scout ship. from what we could tell the Kree aren't a particularly nice species. now one of their ships is in the middle of the Mojave. the problem is that we can't get there. ever. then a few minutes later the second object was detected going towards the earth. it was much smaller and was a woman. without a space ship and giving off all kinds of energy reading. she also landed in the Mojave." he finished.
"I am sure the Brotherhood can find a way to inform someone there," I said leaving.
"if you detect them again I want you to shoot them down," I say going through the teleporter.
