POV 3RD PERSON
five minutes early carol had woke up. she left her room and start by knocking on sixs doors but she saw the door open with no-one in there. she headed towards the lift. she presses one of the buttons. she ends up on the casino floor. she haeds to the main door but it won't open. "well that's odd maybe they lock it at night." Carol said as she enters the life once again this time she hit the button for the Cocktail Lounge. she steps off the lift once again. she looks around and calls out.
"Hello? Charlie? anyone?" she calls out. "over here" a voice replies weakly. on hearing, this carol runs over to the source of the sound. Cass layup against a table. as Carol see her cass looks over. "they...have...lucy" cass barely get out. "who has her?" Carol asked. "top...floor" is all she could say before passing out again.
Carol ran to lift as quickly as she could. she presses the top button. running out as soon as the lift stop. she saw a hole in the window. "help" Carol turned to see the Kree. who see recognised as Minerva holding Lucy.
"let her go" Carol orders.
"not happening" she responds.
Carol fists start to glow but the Kree throws a grenade. Carol is blown next to the window. "just died" she says as she shots carol out of the same window as the Courier.
down below Boone and arcade are looking up. Rex lays at the feet of his master. ED-E starts to fly up. " where's ED-E going?" Boone asks. "maybe the bot finally had it," Arcade said. "wait is that someone else?" Boone asked. suddenly carol land next to them. "holy shit" Boone yell. Carol get up as she covered in a sheet of yellow ready to take off. Boone put his hands on her shoulder and asks. "what's going on up there"
"one of the Kree is up there and has lucy I need to get back up there" she quickly explains.
"not alone take me up with you"Boone orders.
"no she'll kill you" Carol tried to explain.
"I don't care she just chucked my friend off that Tower"
she nods and grabs Boone.
meanwhile, ED-D had reached the hole and flew in. "you're coming to hala. I am sure we can do something with you" the Kree speaks. ED-D sends out an angry beep. she turns to it. "ED-D" lucy screams happily. the Kree pulls her gun on the eye-bot but ED-D fire a laser hitting the Kree. she goes to fire back but Carol and Boone arrive in time. "get lucy I'll deal with her" Boone says to Carol took a moment but saw a look of pure determination on his face. he pulls his rifle. she pushes lucy down the stairs. Carol and Boone look on ready to strike at any moment as dose ED-D. "anyone or even moves in the slightest the kid goes out the window." she said moving in front of the hole.
"I won't let you hurt this family," Boone said readying his rifle. Carol ready to quickly tackle her. she pushes lucy more a bit too much and lucy stumbles out the window. Boone and ED-D open fire on her and Carol quickly fly out of the window. before the Kree could fire back she was dead. Boone and ED-D just let losses. Carol flys as fast as she can. she just made it to Lucy in time. landing and placing lucy on the ground. Arcade had taken the courier to the fort of medical attention. having landed lucy give Carol a hug. "thank you." lucy keeps says while hugging tears starting to fall. Carol leans down to be face level. "hay kid. don't worry you're fine. I promise no one else will hurt you" she said. lucy start to smile. "you promise?" she said with some hope. "yes but I must really go and deal with the bad lady" lucy lets go and nods. Carol smiles and takes off. she lands to see Boone just sitting there.
"she's dead. I made sure of that. what about lucy?" Boone is scared of the answer.
"she's fine a little shaken bit good" Carol answered.
"good let's see if we can get the doors open," Boone said moving over to yesman controls.
"I have no clue what any of these doses," Boone said to Carol.
"well let me have a look," Carol said as she moved over and pressed a button but nothing happened.
"well that didn't work," she said disappointed. ED-D floats into the room and makes an array of beeping noises.
"what's it saying?" Carol asks Boone.
"I have no clue" Boone response.
ED-D fires a laser of some kind at the controls a couple of times and yesman suddenly appeared on the screen.
"Oh I am back online how wonderful," he says in his optimistic tone.
"yesman can you unlock the building?" Boone asked.
"yes already have" he answered.
after this Boone and ED-D want down the lift but Carol went down through the hole in the window.
