"Calm down." Jaxon said as I held his hand in both of mine, "It's no reason for you to be nervous."
"That's easy for you to say. You've been to one before."
I wasn't exactly nervous about the party, just how to act around everyone. Jaxon told me I didn't have to call the Dominants at the party Sir or Ma'am since I wasn't technically a submissive.
But the way he explained it, they all knew each other, were close, and I was an outsider. Hopefully they'll be other plus-one's that no one knows.
We pulled into the drive-way and he turned to look at me, "You're just observing really. We can leave if you don't like it."
I laughed, "I'm sure I'll like it. It's more of the fact that they don't know me."
"You're not the first stranger to come to a party Kyser." He pulled his hand out of mine to rest it on my thigh, "You'll be fine."
Getting out, he came around and opened my door helping me out before pinning me against the car, "I'm nervous."
My eyes widened in surprise. How did he just get done telling me there wasn't a reason for me to be nervous, only to tell me that he was?
"You just said there wasn't a reason to be."
"No." He corrected, "I said there wasn't a reason for you to be nervous."
"So why are you nervous?"
He paused as people walked past us quietly, the woman being lead by a leash attached to a collar, that was held by the man she was with.
Alrighty then.
Jaxon watched my face as I watched them, my eyes eventually returning to him.
"That's why I'm nervous. The look you just had right then."
"Were we looking at the same thing!?" I whisper shouted, "Who wouldn't look at them like that?"
Whatever makes you happy, do it, but damn.
"It's normal Kyser. You'll be seeing a lot of that tonight and it worries me that you'll believe that's what's waiting for you and you'll leave."
HIs voice dropped to barely above a whisper, "I don't want you to leave."
The petty side of me wondered how he didn't want to be in a relationship with me but also didn't want me to leave.
The rational side understood that he was being sensible by not rushing into a relationship.
"Jaxon I moved out, remember?" I asked while touching his face, "I don't have anywhere else to go."
He laughed and kissed my forehead, "Let's go."
I walked slightly behind him, wishing I had a drink or something to calm me down.
Once we entered the home, that was more so a mansion, I allowed my eyes to wander around the room, taking note of the people who were talking as if there weren't naked men and women walking around.
My eyes zeroed in on a woman kneeling on the floor next to her Dominant though there was more than enough room next to him for her to sit on the couch.
I stepped closer to Jaxon, "Why is she on the floor?" I murmured.
His voice was just as low when he responded, "Because that's where He wants her."
At least the floor was clean.
"Jaxon!" Came a voice from a black man who walked towards us, "I'm glad you made it."
