The hunters

Chapter 2

 

Today we're going to a new place.

We wore clothes that we could fight in and hid weapons.

"My parents told me about hunting when I was Ten, Zero was Nine and all I wanted was to keep him safe so I ran from my family and a year later, they died in a explosion and we started hunting and we needed to join others so followed Xavier and Carl," Annabeth said sadly and I smiled at her.

We all piled in cars and drove about six hours to a small town and stayed at a hotel with bigger rooms.

"We have to kill all the supernatural beings," Xavier said as his phone ran and he answered quickly with a hello walking away.

"Yes, we'll help you," he said later and hung up.

Guess it was about a hunt, he probably has friends in a lot of different places to give him jobs for hunts

"A friend said there's a job for us were Man's hearts are turning dry," he said and we followed him out.

"What is it?" Kyle asked.

"A teacher of mine used to tell me a story where Siren's needed human hearts to live and they made the guy fall for them with their sweet voices and beautiful faces, they don't sing like the myths but usually have white hair with red eyes and a beautiful silky outfit, the only thing that killed them in pure silver dipped in blood," I said and everyone looked at me.

"What classes did you take?" Kyle asked me confused and horrified.

"It was a history and myth class," I said.

"Annabeth, you, Zero and Jansen get the weapon as the rest of us find where the Siren's are located," Xavier said and Carl, Kyle and Richard went to an Internet cafe as Xavier and I went to an old bookshop.

I find a lot off books about myths but one was about things that haven't been discovered yet, it said in the first page 'there are powerful beings that can make new things come to life, your worst night mares come to life'

I grabbed that book and a few on myth's even a hunters journal that I guess people that few full of fake stuff.

I paid for these books as Xavier bought some his self.

We all have some money but not much.

We went to the room and began reading, I opened one of my myth books and found one page on sirens with a sketch next to it off a tall girl with long white hair, red eyes and a long white dress with bare feet, and she looked beautiful.

It said about her and then said she hunts single males that are looking for love and is usually found at caves behind waterfalls.

It said once she's powerful enough, she kills anyone she can find.

"Xavier I found where she can be," I said smiling:

"Where?" Xavier said.

"Caves behind waterfalls," I said and he went to his laptop searching it up.

I sat next to him as he found a few waterfalls with caves behind.

"Let's wait for the others," he said and gave his kids apple juice because they were thirsty.

He was such a nice guy, he was sad about the kids mother passing but he is a great guy even if he acts all tough.

Carl, Kyle and Richard came back and we found the same places so the guys loaded guns up giving me a shot gun with silver bullets that'll slow them down as Annabeth, zero and Jansen came back with the weapon to kill Siren's.

We loaded up and split up in each car because there are a few caves they can be at.

I went with Xavier.

It was a silent ride not awkward though.

We ended up at a cave and walked to it, we snuck in and saw a beautiful girl with white hair up to her waist, red eyes that were so dark almost the colour off blood, her dress was floor length and white with bare feet and her skin was as pale as a ghost.

She was beyond beautiful and walked around so gracefully.

"She's so beautiful," Xavier said.

"Don't get tricked by her, she'll kill you," I said giving him a smile.

"I won't but remember we're hunters, we will do anything to save everyone," he said.

I stuck to the opposite said and we ran out of our hiding places, the siren just smirked.

"Hello young boy and girl, my boy well your so hot, I will have you and drain you," she said and I remembered something I read once.

"You will never have me," he said.

"Please let me," the siren said and his eyes turned weird, he was in her grip so I ran to him and I kissed him square on the lips, I remembered reading that the spell doesn't walk if he likes someone else.

Then I turned around cutting her throat and killing her.

Xavier was shocked standing still with his mouth wide open.

"Sorry, I just made her touch not work on you," I said pulling him to the car.

I drove back to the hotel since he was in shock and we grabbed four pizzas on the way home for dinner.

He stayed silent until the whole way.

It was only a kiss.

We didn't talk but when we got home, everyone was there so we ate.

"Why are you too so silent? What happened?" Kyle asked Xavier and me.

"Nothing," Xavier and I said at the same time and the others just laughed.
