Chapter 4

 

In front of the cars was a girl with cheery red hair, a little button nose, smoky grey eyes, her hair was braided to the side and she wore a white dress without shoes.

"Help me!" She said and fainted.

Kyle got out of the car and around Xavier's car picking her up and putting her in Xavier's car since no one sat in the back.

We drove to Richard's families' cottage and put her on a bed.

I grabbed a red dress and flats putting them on her bed side table with a glass of water and a towel.

"Who are you?" I heard a soft voice say.

"I'm Eve, I'm here to help," I said handing her the water.

"Thank you Eve," She said "I'm Rose."

She drank all the water and then gave me a small smile.

"Want to wash up?" I asked.

"Yes please," she said laughing.

"Here are some clothes and a towel," I said leading her to the bathroom and then walking to the kitchen.

"What's up with Eve?" Carl asked.

"This guy got her knocked up then beat her up so she'd lose the child so she looks after any one in help," Jansen said.

"That's horrible," Richard said.

"I can hear you," I said quietly.

"Sorry," Jansen said as Rose stepped out of the bathroom.

"Thanks Eve for the clothes," she said smiling.

I felt sick as I ran to the bathroom throwing everything I ate up as Xavier grabbed my hair holding it back.

"You ok?" Xavier asked.

"Yeah," I said flushing the toilet and cleaning up then walking out.

"Eve, you alright?" Rose asked.

"Yeah, fine," I said smiling as I walked to the kitchen melting chocolate and getting strawberries out cutting the leafs off.

"Really Eve?" Kyle asked.

"Yep," I said dipping them and then eating.

"She's acting strange," Annabeth said.

I go and jump on the couch.

"Is Eve ok?" Violet asked in a cute little voice.

"She's fine," Xavier said sweetly.

"Eve, you look tired," Xavier said as he lifted me up and carried me to bed.

He's a sweet guy and when I was in bed he kissed my forehead and walked away as I fell asleep.

I woke up later and Rose was at the end of my bed.

"Eve, I have to say something," she said.

"Yeah," I said confused.

"Your pregnant with a Phoenix child," she said and my eyes go wide.

"What?" I yelled.

"I'm a demon, I can tell if a supernatural is in you," she said as I called Xavier.

He ran in with salt and holly water throwing it on Rose and she screamed since it burnt her, she is a demon.

"Why are you with us?" He yelled.

"I want to help, I don't want to be bad," she said.

"Let her join us," Kyle said from the doorway "she can help."

"Ok but if you hurt any on off us, I won't hesitate to kill you," Xavier said.

"Eve, what are you going to do with it?" Rose asked as everyone entered the room.

"Do with what?" Richard asked.

"She's pregnant with a Phoenix's child," Rose said and everyone was shocked or confused.

"Evelyn Dana Rosemary! You did it with a Phoenix!" Kyle yelled.

"It was Kai," I said and looked down.

"Who's Kai?" Carl asked.

"Her childhood best friend," Jansen said.

"I'll kill him if I ever see him again," Kyle said.

"Guys, want me to tell you about the Phoenix baby? It's different than normal babies," Rose said.

"Yeah, that'll be good," Xavier said as everyone sat down somewhere in my room.

"Well first, the pregnancy lasts for five weeks not nine because they grow faster, you can teach them to control their powers and not all are bad, there get their powers when they're thirteen," Rose said.

"I can't believe this happened," I said groaning.

"It'll be alright," Xavier said and hugged me "we'll help you."

"Just don't go around sleeping with guys," Kyle said.

"I won't," I said smiling.

"Rose, your joining our group I'm guessing," Zero said.

"Yes," Rose said "I will help as much as I can."
