Water Fight

Today was a nice day so we were all sat out in the Garden, Tee, Carmen and Lily were all sitting on a picnic blanket doing there nails. Me, Tyler, Jody, Frank, Johnny, Elektra, Harley and Toby were playing football. Gus was playing chess with Mike at the table and Harry was sitting with Sapphire who had come to join us for the day.

Football was going well, Me, Tyler, Jody and Toby were the small team since we are the young half and the others were the older half even though me and johnny were the same age. We were however loosing but we seemed to be having a lot more fun than the other team who were all just arguing with each other.

"Come on Johnny stop being a baby." Elektra mocked him.

"I'm not." He wined.

"You are mate." Both me and Tyler added.

The game eventually came to a holt when Mike announced the barbecue was ready. He had Hot dogs, burgers, skewers, chicken all lining the grill. We formed an orderly line and by orderly I mean Elektra, Johnny and Harley all forced there way to the front and the rest of us lined up behind them. We all sat round on benches and blankets having a lovely time, I had wedged myself in between Jody and Tyler with Sapphire and Harry opposite and Mike behind me so that Harley didn't try to come and sit with me.

"So what's it been like with out Liam?" Sapphire asks.

"Weird, it's like he was never here." I told her.

"This place is like that, one out, one in. I bet you'll still see him all the time." Sapphire said tiring her best to cheer me up.

"It's been 2 months Saph, no text, calls, visits ...nothing." I say becoming sad.

"Hey, don't worry about it, he will come back. It took me ages before I was ready to be back here but I am now." Sapphire tells me.

"But what if it's year like Tracy, I can't wait 15 years." I say starting to cry a little.

Sapphire comes round from the other side of the table and hugs me tightly, then Tyler, Jody and Harry get in on it.

"Everything Ok?" I heard Mike ask but I couldn't see him with everyone around me.

"Fine." I call out.

"So anyway, what is this I hear about you getting kicked out of classes and having detentions." Sapphire says changing the subject.

"Who told you?" I ask.

"Doesn't matter, It's not smart you know getting in trouble at school." She says clearly disproving of what I was doing.

"You used to get detentions all the time." I reply.

"Yes so I know it doesn't get you very far in life."

"You've got your own flat and an awesome collage placement doing what you love."

"Yes and all that would have been a lot easier if I had buckled down at school."

Fed up of her nagging I pick up one of the water guns from a bucket that Mike had been getting ready and squirted it straight at her.

"You're in for it now, Harry come get her." sapphire says pulling him in.

"Tyler, Jody come help me." I call.

"No you got yourself into this." They tell me so I squirt them each as well. They both pick up water pistols and it becomes 4 against 1 and then everyone else starts joining in. of course they were gonna take the opportunity to soak me but I ignored them and focused on my friends. Once Sapphire noticed that I was the one they were all soaking though she did start getting the others.

"No no one fancied the lunch that I slaved over then. Of course not why would you." I heard Mike call after us but no one was really paying him any attention to wrapped in our water fight.

I looked around to notice that Elektra was surprisingly dry for doing the most soaking but then everyone was to scared to get her wet. I took my water gun and aimed it straight at her, pulling the trigger on her felt really good, she was too busy soaking poor Tee that she didn't even notice what I was doing until she was absolutely soaked.

"YOUR DEAD!" Elektra shouted over the noise of all the other kids.

"It's a water fight Elektra what did you expect to happen." I laughed.

After our impromptu water fight we all went inside and got dried off before going down to the kitchen for our barbecue food which Mike had kept warm in oven. He didn't want to risk us going back out in case someone started with the water fight again.

"Saph, are you staying tonight." I asked as it was getting late and we were cuddled up on the sofa.

"Well I wasn't supposed to be but if they come in we will pretend to be asleep and then they can't kick me out can they." She replies.

"Didn't think I was aloud to lie."

"It's not lying it is just pretending and hoping they don't work it out." She tells me.

"So I can 'pretend and hope they don't work it out' at school then." I say with a smirk.

"No now pretend to be asleep I can her Mike." She replies.
