I woke up still smiling remembering the night before.  When I turn to look at the spot next to me it's empty.  Just as I was about to start panicking Z walks in with breakfast and coffee.

"Thought I left?"  She smiles.  I feel the heat rise up my cheeks. "I'm really not a hit it and quit it type of girl!" She laughs at her own joke.

I pull her close to me. "Whatever!  I thought you couldn't cook?" I query changing the subject and willing my blush to go away.

"I can barely boil water, but I can order some amazing delivery."   With that we settle into breakfast.

"So what's next?  I know you're wrapping soon. How are we going to make this work?  The logistics will be crazy."

"The timing is not ideal, we both have projects coming up and you live in London; but there's FaceTime, Texting, SnapChat..." Z has been sending me funny snaps all summer. "We can stay connected.  We just have to be up front with our expectations of each other and really commit to making those happen." She raises an eyebrow at me.

"I told you I won't make the same mistake twice."  I tickle her side making her giggle.  I wish I could bottle that sound.  "I know you're big on keeping things discreet, but I want to tell my family about us."

"Of course!  I wouldn't expect you to keep our relationship from your family or friends.  I just don't want it in the media.  I don't want people to leverage our relationship for their gain."

"Elle and I were fairly open about being together so this will be different for me."

"You have no idea how quickly your life is about to change.  Civil War just premiered and once Homecoming takes off you won't be able to sneak on a plane or grab coffee and not be noticed.  People will be watching your every move.  I'm just giving you a heads up.  Just embrace the changes but remember who you are, who your real friends are and everything will work out."

She took another breath, "I really care about you. I don't want this to be some cliche co-star dating fling."

I grab her hands, "This is way more than just a passing fancy for me.  I'm in this for the long haul."

We take out our calendars and line up plans for the next few months.  We schedule phone dates and even find a few free days where we could visit each other.  It will be no easy task but she's definitely worth it.

Once we're done aligning our schedules I stand up and pull her up with me.  "Let's take a shower.  We can help the planet by showering together to save water."  I tug her into the bathroom.  She just shakes her head but still follows me in.  For now, I just want to savor each moment I have with her.
