I woke up face down on the cold, hard, wooden floors of Stefani's teenage bedroom. By the time I got up on my two feet, she was nowhere to be found.

"Thanks for giving me a blanket" I laughed under my breath heading into her bathroom.

I unpacked my toiletries and started to brush my teeth. The sound of Stefani's beautiful humming filled the upstairs hallway and I quickly finished knowing she was gonna want a good morning kiss.

"Hey baby" I smiled turning to face her.

She had on a black loose fitted dress and white converse

"Hey" her voice was weak

I leaned in to give her a kiss and she backed away.

"You're not gonna wanna kiss this mouth" she frowned

"And why's that?" I leaned up against the counter

"Morning sickness is in full swing.."

"I'm sorry" I reached out and pulled her into a hug.

"Babygirl is four months today" she smiled into my chest

I bent down and kissed her belly.

"Happy four months Franny! See you in five months!"

Stefani let out a loud giggle and rubbed my bed head hair.

"She loves her daddy's voice"

"I love when your mommy calls me daddy," I said to the stomach

"Shut up" Stefani hit the back of my head

"I am so happy that your mine" I stood up straight and gave her a wide smile

She narrowed her eyes at me and puckered her lips at me. When I leaned in for a second time she stepped backward into her room letting me lose my balance and hit the door.

"Vomit breath, remember?" she called out walking out of her room

"I'll get you back!" I yelled after her

I turned towards the mirror and looked at my face. I looked happy and it truly boosted my confidence.

I turned off the bathroom light switch and headed downstairs.

"So what's the plan for today" her mother smiled while putting together a breakfast salad with some fruity drink

"What do you mean?" I stole a grape from the nearest plate

"Are you guys going out in public, Spending time alone, going to see a Broadway show.." Cynthia stopping mixing the bowl and put some of the salad onto plates.

"I don't know yet" I smiled "Need help with anything?"

"Nope! You're my guest!" She returned the smile

"I just want to know while the two of us are alone..." I started

She stopped scooping and looked at me in the eyes the same way Stefani does when you talk to her.
